The Old Guard Roll Call
Aw, I don't remember who controlled the Overseer account. I do have a couple of these sitting around though...

So what have I missed?
Hey Arkan. Been awhile. Alpha Protocol was a janky, unbalanced game, but the dialogue system and the absolutely insane number of things that the game keeps track of and responds to as you play more than made up for that in my mind. The stealth and pistol skills are absolutely broken and therefore should be taken as your specialties. It will really minimize frustrations down the line. It's been as low as $2 on steam sale before. Dungeon Siege 3 is the closest Obsidian has come to releasing a bug free game so far. It was rock solid stable for me and performed pretty well. It's a pretty basic ARPG and the loot is lacklustre, but it was fun while it lasted. Should be able to find it fairly cheap as well. It uses Steamworks if that matters to you. You should feel bad for not having playing FO:NV yet.

OMGBBQ!
I'm touched, truly I am, that my welcoming you back caries such a high value that it's lack of being publicly stated has emotionally scarred you.

Obsidian has a Kickstarter profile
As long as we get a voice that says "Updated my journal" or something similar I'll be happy. Nah, but you might get "You must gather your party..."

What I'd like to know is...
You need to ask?

(3) The book unread is unwritten.
Haha, I was about to say... DS3 is probably the only Obsidian game I own that I will never finish. Well unless I let my KotOR II playthrough sit on my backlog like I currently am... One of these days I'll get around to finishing up Dungeon Siege 3. I think I got stuck on the last boss fight. I will get that "Complete game on hardest difficulty" achievement...

(4) What do the words mean?
I wouldn't say unhappiness. More a lack of enthusiasm. DS3 was great from a technical perspective in that it lacked the usual bugginess that most Obsidian games seem to suffer from to some degree, but it wasn't anything special beyond that.

(4) What do the words mean?
Hey! Hey guys! What if... What if the 4 isn't actually related to the game, but is just part of the countdown timer? http://www.formspring.me/JESawyer/q/358704167608404161

Your first Computer Specs
Sadly I don't know what the specs were on my first computer. I do remember that it was a work laptop with a busted screen that my dad brought managed to snag for me since it wasn't worth fixing. It was an old Toshiba, didn't even have a CD drive. We hooked it up to an external monitor and CD player/drive.

Look on the bright side. At least Toronto didn't go out and sign a bunch of bottom 6 forwards and a 3rd pairing defenceman that you don't need. Nokelainen was brutal for us last year. The only thing he was decent at was faceoffs and even that was only barely above even. Armstrong I don't particularly care about either way. Low-risk signing on a bare minimum contract. He does help with our depth on the wings which is a bit of a weakness right now. Prust is meh. I don't mind having him, but he's not worth 4 years/$10 million. Boullion? If there is one thing that Montreal doesn't need more of, it's 3rd pairing defencemen. Especially ones that have only played more than 70 games twice since the lockout. I'd rather they brought back Kostitsyn and maybe taken a shot at Radulov. If you really want a veteran defenceman, take a chance with someone like Souray who may be just as injury prone, but at least he can play. At least Noke, Armstrong and Boullion are only signed for a year each.

Whoever called that goaltender interference call on Foligno needs to have his eyes checked. Terrible, terrible call.

Of course you can't count on them scoring 5+ every night. Sometimes they only score 4. I have Philly, LA and Nash in my bracket, but only because I thought they were all going to lose and now Philly and LA are on the verge of sweeping their opponents. WHAT IS GOING ON?!

Ouch, Bioware... Dragon Age 2, and now this?
The main thing I recall is that it directly contradicted a lot of the established lore.
-
Future of the Dragon Age franchise
Even that would be better than leave it like it is though. For some reason I feel like they WANT people to go all hurr durr about the ending. And then drop the bomb later. But who knows, let's see what happens. I agree on your first point. As for the second, you're half right. They want LOTS OF SPECULATION about the ending. I don't think they thought about the second portion.

Future of the Dragon Age franchise
Don't hold your breath. If ending DLC is released it will be because Bio has been scrambling the past couple weeks to throw something together with the most popular fan theory rather than something that was planned out in advance. If they actually had something like this in the works the PR machine would be tripping over itself to reassure people to just hold on rather than the current focus of "We're listening to your complaints and we're collecting feedback".
