Gnolls are relatively low-XP, and that stronghold is tedious as hell. (Although, I also recall that one of the stat-boosting Tomes is down there.) It's only the charisma tome and it's on the other side of about a billion xvarts. It would give Tale 19 Charisma. That would give a little extra store discount when buying things, but it's not huge. The good part about the gloves of dexterity is that it's right at the beginning of the map. You only have to kill the enemy that holds them. Does Tale have fireball yet?

Mages are very squishy. At level 5 he would have a maximum of 20HP with only 14 CON. Also, this has made me load up my game of BG that I haven't touched since May. The Iron Throne is a terrible terrible fight with SCS!

Wait, you're not going to the Gnoll Stronghold? So no Gauntlets of Dexterity? When all the melee guys have 14 or less dex? Nepenthe! See man! I'm looking out for you! I would, but I think that jerk my friend Nepenthe stole is using the hammer. It looks like I'm using a flail. Come on Nepenthe, you've got a fighter's THAC0! What do you need the best cleric weapon in the game for? This is obviously not an optimal solution. Also, I think greylord should give up that wonderful Ankheg armour. It's not like he'll be anywhere near melee combatants where he would need every precious point of AC, he is an archer afterall.

Potions of Mirrored Eyes make you immune to gaze attacks, IE the only thing Basilisks have between you and and their 7000XP.

For easy counting, subtract the Post# of the top post from the last post#. If it's 14 (IIRC), it should bring it over the top. Edit: E.g. post 60-46 = 14, so the next post should in theory go on top of next page. Only for you crazy people that don't have your posts per page set to the maximum 40.

First gold medal game in 10 years that Canada won't be in. 6-5 loss to the Russians in the semi-final. 4 goals in 4:57 during the third period to come back from 6-1 but couldn't get that 5th goal to tie it up. Hit a post with less than a minute to go. I think that was about the 5th post in the game for Canada. Shots were 54-26 for Canada. Both teams pulled their starting goaltender. Don't know how to feel. 11 minutes to go in the third period I had given up. Had resigned myself to the loss. 4 goals later was sitting on the edge of my seat for the last 5 minutes. Still lost, but so close instead of blown out...

So far, the biggest difficulty for me is, that you can't assign favourite spells to quick keys (at least, I haven't found such an option). I've been putting myself on fire while healing goblins and killed myself by spontaneous forcefield creation that catapulted me through the air out into the ocean. Fancy robes or not, wizards swims like rocks Have you ever tried to swim in a giant robe? It's tough man! And yes, there is no way to hotkey spells. You have to hit the proper keys every time. Just playing with one other person makes the game exponentially easier as you can revive yourself. Revive (WA) is pretty much the easiest spell in the game to cast and there is a reason it's the first one you learn.

You should raise him. You did raise Enoch twice and you said the limit was three earlier in this update. Are you really going to go back on your word so quickly? (Also I don't want to set a precedent of not raising people before their time is up for when I get in...)

Grenades at spawn points I've done. Works really well against those excavator things that pop up from underground as they can't get away. Melee attack to slowmo is a good one that I haven't been doing. I've only really got the hang of the slowmo recently and I'm about half way through chapter 3. Would have taken me much longer to kill the junk robot without it. I've got the shotgun almost fully upgraded and the assault rifle is only a couple levels from max. Wouldn't have thought of the exchange upgrade. Thanks for that one.

Hopefully you're playing on Hard because Normal is far too easy. Uh yeah. I'm totally playing on hard. >_> Next time I'll kick it up to hard. Right now I'm trying to get a feel for all the different guns and the controls. I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it although I'm still averaging about 25% cover usage. And I have no idea where half of the statues I've shot were. I've hit 9 of them so far, but I only remember actively noticing 4 of them.

What? I can understand claiming 2 games, but 4 is really stretching it. 6 games is right out of the question unless you are counting Dark Alliance, but that is clearly a separate series. Tales of the Sword Coast is not comparable to Throne of Bhaal and so shouldn't be counted as a separate entry in the series. And what the hell does the EA purchase which happened 6 years after Throne of Bhaal have anything to do with this?

Finally finished Uncharted 3 after putting it down for about a month. Last I played I had just hit the pirate section and just wasn't feeling it. Powered through the rest of the game. I don't understand why everyone loved the cruise ship level so much. It just pissed me off with the constant swaying of the boat throwing off my aim in every combat encounter and the fire demons in the last couple chapters being huge bullet sponges was infuriating if you had the wrong type of gun. UC2 > UC1 > UC3 Received Vanquish for Christmas so I'm running through that now. Having a blast with this game. Movement is fluid, enemies respond to being shot at, giant robots to beat up and I am in love with this shotgun.

That's 6. I'm tossing my name in on the waitlist with a Human Fighter/Mage, dualled at level 9 since Tale called the Wild Mage.

If you go without SCS so that you can replace people who get chunked, how would you deal with the protagonist dying? Is one person just going to be exempt from dying or would you just rotate out when that person dies and a new character becomes the child of bhaal?
