Depends on if you're DS or LS. I can only answer for LS. Bastila has an extremely minor role in the game you only see her twice and never get to talk to her but you do see her talk with Carth. Yes at the very end you'll get a cryptic and somewhat vague answer to what happened to Revan.
In the immensely enjoyable time I had playing K2 I personally did not run across any bugs. (Just getting their spirits up)
Have you tried walking up the pylon a ways?
He's not in the Enclave try looking into some caves...
Some characters like Kreia thrive on dark choices and you can gain DS point and influence from her.

If you guys are wondering slowdowns occured all over not just during combat. There were quite a few slow downs on Peragus and the occasional one here and there. There are a few places where you'll be fighting 15+ enemies at once in a congested area THAT got it down to about 1 fps.
The closest anyone gets is Visas if you are a male.
You should spare her there is no benefit not to.
Darth Nihilis plays pratically no role in the game. Only Visas is affected.

The real Bastila is in the game. But only if you are LS. She shows up near the end after you defeat Darth Nihilis and go back to the surface of Telos. You have a short chat with Carth and after you leave Bastila has a short conversation with Carth.

I used Master Speed and Master Flurry to wipe out the floating lightsabers in one hit.
She also said the Revan was her Padawan IIRC.
It does you get it on Onderon.
You have to have Visas Marrs in your party and you have to be level 15. Then speak to Kreia aboard the Ebon Hawk.
