Yeah, it's a shame because I always like Holland. They're a great team to watch and they love to spice things up when drama hits the field too (see their many confrontations v. Portugal for example). :D Ugh, don't remind me. The only year I got really into football I had a huge flamewar with someone here over that match where they were literally ninja-kicking each other. Was it with me? I can't remember.

I find amusing how so many still don't understand that Trump is really different from everything that came before. Just his attitude towards trade, for instance, has clear potential to tank the country's economy in a way that would make the sub prime crisis look like a walk in the park.

Obsidian has already said the physical editions are late. As soon as they have definite shipping dates, they will say something. It would be irresponsible to give delivery dates without certainty. Note that a similar thing happened with the first game. My collector's edition of the original took quite a while to arrive and there was a significant difference in the delivery dates between the US and the rest of the world.

People discriminated against are poorer. Poorer people commit more crime. I wonder if there is some sort of relationship here.

Deadpool 2 is awesome, although not quite as awesome as the first. Better plotting would have been nice.

What the hell are you doing here was going to be my question. Instead, it is whether you are still Swedish.

Stickied, for now. Post any typos, here. -
Well, yeah, European governments can go ahead and say they'll keep their side of the deal, and that will help somewhat in Iran. What it won't help is NATO and trade relations between the EU and the US. The Trump admin has already potentially given away control of trade relations in the Pacific by scuppering TPP, so this could certainly be a way to fast track the US towards isolationism. In any case, I personally think that America has already surrendered the driver's seat of international relations to China. It just doesn't know it yet. I dunno, maybe climate change will make all these changes moot. Or maybe China will succumb to its own really serious internal problems. What I do know is that, one way or another, things are going south, and an incompetent idiot narcissist is gleefully helping everything along. MAGA.

I see. And what was "won"? The treaty was the result of a lot of negotiating between western governments and the Iranian moderates. The more extremist Iranians were always against the agreement, so the US going back on the treaty is a clear sign that the West cannot be trusted and that the moderates were fools to fight against significant internal opposition to it. Trump has essentially given the extremists a huge leg up in the next elections. Of course, you might say that the moderates are only that in name only, so who cares, but the fact of the matter is that the difference between the two factions is huge, especially when considering Iran's foreign policy.

That's the hardliners celebrating the huge political victory Trump dropped on their laps.

The limit is kind of fluid these days, but technically there's a rule that says our threads shouldn't go over 500 posts. Nowadays, the hardware can take the heat of very large threads, but way back when (before I even became a mod), things were supposedly a little bit iffier on that front. Anyway, off topic. Edit: You made me check and the rule was officially instated in January of 2007. Actually a lot later than I thought it had but still before my time as a mod. Still off topic so I'll stop now.

The US just can't stop blundering in the Middle East. The US just can't stop inadvertently pushing power in the Middle East more into the hands of Extremist Islam.
