I would absolutely back another PoE Kickstarter. Good news is, they already have a functioning engine and wouldn't have to start from scratch. That in itself would allow more of the funds raised on actual game content, as opposed to prototyping. There's also the bonus of not having to go through trial and error as much and a better understanding of the workflow pipeline for more efficient use of resources.

I was about the post the same thing, the basic premise of the Black Hound is basically the same premise as Eternity.... so maybe we did get that story after all? Also that stained glass is very nice, great style to it and I have been really happy with similar small details you see in game like paintings and shields and such. They are all very nicely detailed. As for that backer..... seriously they dropped that much money then never responded? Insane. And if pillars of eternity does well, who knows, maybe Josh will decide to make another game with the same engine but with TBH scenario We'll probably be regaled of the tale of The Black Hound at the inn. Who knows, there may be some plot foreshadowing included as a bit of an allegory of sorts.

The maximum party size you can have at any one time is six. That includes your main character and any combination of five other companions or adventurers. This is the number you play with. The rest you can't take with you, can wait at your stronghold. Companions are party NPC's that are created by Obsidian that have their own unique voice sets, storylines, and dialogue. Adventurers are generic characters you can create at the Adventurer's Hall for a fee. They have no personality beyond what you cook up in your imagination. The maximum number you can create is 8.

Max party size is 6. There are 8 total companions and you can hire up to 8 additional adventurers.

Played for about an hour and a half. Elerond and Darkpriest have the right of it. The strategic aspects of the game are barebones and are used as primarily as a vehicle to drive its core gameplay element: starship combat. Which I believe they've hit a home run on. It's a fun game.

Spotting Visceris/Hades alts were a lot easier than spotting Eldar/Cantousent alts.

I had no idea about its usage as such a bad pejorative in SA, but I use the K word regularly in normal everyday situations. Having a K-Lime tree in my backyard and its leaves being such a commodity in many recipes, I regularly give it away to friends, coworkers, neighbors, and relatives.
