  1. Did you click on the ABOUT FIG page on the site? Or the purple bar graph just above the number of backers? Or the Invest button?
  2. Investments. To my knowledge Obsidian has said that this figure does not include investements Yes it does. *edit* Although the nomenclature used is fig funds.
  3. ? From the comments section on FIG update 16.
  4. I'm thinking that in an expansion, they'll probably upgrade sidekicks to companion status instead.
  5. So it is confirmed that the $20 buys you a season pass.
  6. Technically, in a sloop, the gun deck is on the main deck.
  7. might not be appropriate to compare all crowdfunding. compare to wasteland 3, also a fig campaign and sequel, makes more sense, eh? wasteland 3 brought in half as much during last few days as it did during day 1. still an impressive last minute acceleration, but not quite the same as kickstarters. as such, one would expect ~$500k 'tween now and the end o' the campaign. HA! Good Fun! But how much of that was from pledges vs investments? We already know that Obsidian has between $2 million and $2.25 million reserved as investments, so we should see roughly $460k to $680k coming in the next couple days.
  8. You got the overhead sailing interface. You got the boarding-action with swordfighting. Will we also see a dancing mini-game to win the affection of the Governor's daughter?
  9. A litany of dirty names just popped into my head.
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu3VTngm1F0&feature=youtu.be To me, the guys at Obsidian have built up quite a bit of equity over 20 years, so I'll trust them.
  11. I'd rather see Eder ubiquitously retching over the side.
  12. Or in lieu of a jail cell or brig, tie up prisoners on it.
  13. They've already mentioned they'll accept funding past the FIG campaign. Whatever comes through PayPal will still count towards any goals --atleast until they pull the plug.
  14. I'm fine with the seven companions to be honest. More time for the designer to spend in writing and polishing other things. Ideally, Obsidian gets $4.9 million. But the Pirates! -style exploration map is cool.
  15. Point of order. Having read Patrick O'Brian, it's been drilled on to me that a sloop isn't a ship. Carry on.
  16. More than failing CNN and half that of FOX News. Sad!
  17. If I'm not mistaken, isn't friendly fire also a product of the difficulty setting?
  18. Activism from the Bench at its worst. It's like we're going back to the rules bending days of Happy Chandler and Kenesaw Mountain Landis! This ain't what Abner Doubleday and the Founders intended or codified. Progressives.
  19. Can't believe the Blur album is twenty years old.
  20. Sacrilege! http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/18737245/mlb-union-agree-get-rid-traditional-intentional-walkwill-use-signal-dugout Thou shalt count to four balls, no more, no less. Four shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, neither count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then proceedest thou towards First Base...
  21. Jeannie Buss names Magic as President of BBALL Ops for the Lakers. Fires her brother, Jim, and GM Mitch Kupchak. It's two days before the trade deadline.
  22. I'd say the A's preference would be Howard Terminal (as alluded to in my post above) followed by the Lake Merritt sites with the Coliseum as the fallback. All those sites are owned by the city/county but each have their own challenges. Howard Terminal: Environmental impact concerns and about one mile away from BART Station. Lake Merritt: Parking and traffic access. Property in use by the local community college. Coliseum: The Raiders and not compatible with retail and restaurant access. Not downtown.
