Replace the texture's of the HUD, update font quality, improve the fog and this isn't a texture but I would like to add a scroll feature (which I have no clue how I'm going to do this). The resolution mod, linked on the last page changes the HUD around. For all your Infinity Engine modding needs, I would suggest Spellhold Studios

I don't care about MMOs either, but it's always interesting to see what Blizzard comes up with next.

I played a bunch of X-Com Apocalypse on Steam. It's not as bad or confusing as I remembered, as long as you play it turn-based, best of all armor actually does something! The destructible environment is really great and you can actually bring a piece of the ceiling down on the enemies(or yourself...) At the moment I'm playing UFO: Afterlight, which appears to be the only functional game of the series. Try the demo if you like squad-based tactical strategy games, it's not the best, but it's fun every now and then.

I wouldn't call the combat "pretty good" for a 2003 game. The best that can be said is that it worked, sometimes. The "AI" had the enemies get stuck behind pretty much anything and just wait for you to gun them down. In KoTOR you could at least set up some actions without worrying about people getting stuck on everything. If they are going to fix something, I'd start by removing the horrible sidequests with three different map templates that all look like someone did them on their lunch break.

I'm just disappointed that it's not Anubis, he's way more awesome. If Jacob has been all over the place then who was trapped in the cabin by the circle of ash and who broke the circle? I don't think we have seen Smokey in past, maybe the evil dude/Smokey was trapped in the cabin by Jacob/someone until someone let him out after 1977...

The horribly repetitive gameplay wasn't worth it for the half System Shock 2 ripoff, half sucky story. Sure the art style and music were nice, but not enough to keep me playing. And if I ever see another game of pipe dream, I'm going to lose it. This seems to be that with amped up powers and an even worse story.

Good catch, I hadnt noticed that. BTW, did Anubis only have four toes per foot or is that another twist? The statue had a crocodile face, Anubis has the face of a jackal. It was probably the statue of Sobek.

This season has a lot of (potential) character deaths. Charlotte, Faraday, Locke, Juliet, Sayid and Jacob. (I would assume that fake-Locke will ditch the body(form) now that he has been outed.) The writers are merciless.

It has sprite-based faux 3d "models" with painted static backgrounds. Changing the background should be easy enough if you are dedicated, but creating new models is probably a pain in the ass.

He touched Sun and Locke as well... And man, is Richard(os) gonna be pissed or what? He's been led by the nose for a looong time. It's really funny that even Jack said that Locke was special, in the end he was little more than a puppet, a sad little puppet.

I dont know what I feel would be a good wrap up. Reset time and none of it happened? Everyones dead except the ones on the beach? Im sure the "They're coming" comment from Jacob right before he gets kicked into the fire pit will confound things. Whose coming? The other Others? We still haven't seen the Others that are in the temple, the ones that took the children and have Cindy the stewardess(We saw them in season three when Kate and Sawyer were in cages and Jack had to operate on Ben). Maybe they are Smokey's people? Also, I just realized that Claire must be evil, because she was chilling out with Christian in the cabin(?). Poor Claire, I hope she gets some closure.

No real point in hiding the spoilers... I see it as two different entities - Smoke Monster dude and Jacob(evil and good) living together and not being able to kill each other. So the bad dude finds the "loophole" of having someone else do it by some seriously overcomplicated manipulation of Locke and Ben. If a damn thermonuclear bomb and a really long fall doesn't kill Juliet, then she might just as well be immortal. Also, if the last season is the plane landing happily in Sydney and everyone feeling that they should be doing something else, i'm not going to be very happy.

Awesome! It would have been better if the bomb had just been stuck and then got loose in the end with Juliet's corpse in the background, but whatever. EDIT: I'm still hoping for Whatever Happened, Happened with season 6 beginning with Jack waking up in the jungle in the present.

The difference is that this is done without any kind of trial or legal stuff. If they "suspect" that you have pirated stuff you get the letters and eventually disconnected. I hope this won't spread to other countries...

Mass Effect is a very good game, just get the XBox 360 version. Its less buggy and doesn't have SecuROM. Don't forget the even-suckier-than-PC combat system. That's a solid selling point...

I wish you could've kicked that (ungodly annoying) sidekick into spiky spikes. Though there is a certain in-game moment that is tremendously rewarding in that regard. Yeah the chick in your head was way more awesome.

There's no hurry. You could wait for the whole trilogy to come out in one box...
