  1. It looks like that "news" report confused (whether purposefully or accidentally) the video game of Episode III with KOTOR3. The game based on Ep.III is well under way and nearing completion, while K3 is not in production at all.
  2. Farscape and Firefly. I'll try and expand on them later for you, but they are superb sci-fi shows.
  3. I think this has gone quite spammy, though it perhaps started that way.
  4. Last I heard MOM2 was in development, just not officially. I'm not sure where they stand right now in their dealings with Atari, I haven't checked up on it for a while.
  5. Excellent FO music. I tend to like a mix of ambient (from soundscapes to dark ambient to more ethereal stuff), world, religious and "old" (medieval, ancient, etc) music for fantasy p&p.
  6. Rangers rarely have a high defensive capability; they heavily rely on getting in as many hits as possible first before being hit themselves (or getting mre hits than the enemy, hence the dual-wielding and highest BAB rating). Rangers are guerilla warriors, and Degan's build certainly makes a nice "finish the job" character. It would be best combined with hitting an enemy from afar with a bow and then closing in for that big finish. That big-damage potential is nice, but it comes at sacrificing a lot of other aspects of the class, I think.
  7. Zoo Tycoon is great. I don't have it installed right now as I'm not playing it, and it's not a game I like to keep on the hard drive unless I'm actually using it. For some reason, when I run any sort of system scan (looking for spyware, errors, whatever), the scan gets bogged down in the Zoo Tycoon files and takes forever to wade through them. I plan on picking up the sequel when it comes down in price and is inevitably bundled with all the expansions that will likely be made for it. I'd like to get Sims2 sometime as well, I had fun with the first one. I like the idea of sandbox mode a lot as well.
  8. The biggest problem with polls is that if someone votes in it, the topic gets bumped even if there's no post. Also, these are discussion boards, so discuss your preferences rather than just clicking a poll option.
  9. This doesn't require a poll. Fair enough discussion, but not needing a poll. Oh, and thread moved.
  10. Not really. I'm sure it'll be a must-buy when it comes out, though I'm in no rush for it, really. I don't get terribly excited over strategy game sequels, since the replayability of said games is so high; a sequel doesn't offer the same potential of all-new adventures or that sort of thing. Granted, I really like the direction the game is going and they seem to be adding some good stuff. I hope they tweak Doomstars though; the patches for GalCiv really toned them down and took the fun out of using them.
  11. Because I'm not very good I've only played the game once through on the easiest level.
  12. You've got a very nice colour/texture technique in the more abstract areas of your work; try and carry that into your work with faces. The hard lines of the face in the first image don't work as well as those nice textures you've got as background and border segments.
  13. Likewise. Though I can imagine Call Of Duty would be good fun in MP; one might actually have useful squad-mates then.
  14. The X-Box forum seemed a catch-all for story discussion, spoilers and general chatter, all for which there were pre-existing forums for. So the PC and XBox-specific fora seemed redundant. There's not really any need to divvy discussion about the game in general up between the two platforms.
  15. The implication there for me is to make it quite hard, and take a heck of a long time, to reach 10th level. Which should be the case, in my opinion. In the super-fast power-leveling of a cRPG that build would be far too much, but in a P&P campaign where it can take a year or more of playing that character to reach 10th level, it seems reasonable.
  16. I really like the drawing of the guy with the lantern; it has a really great style and feeling. The girl with the swords is well done but fairly typical in it's presentation - it doesn't have the character the other illustration has.
  17. He's redecorating his office. Rumour around the Obsidian offices is that he's taken to calling himself The Master and has been telling the staff they will soon be "dipped". But that's good that he's bought up those assets, they should be under his ownership.
  18. Me too. I saw the commercials for this program and laughed.
  19. I'm going to lock this before it goes too far out of control.
  20. Poll removed as it's un-necessary. And why limit the question so much?
  21. This went downhill in a hurry. Locked.
