  1. I suck at it. I'm okay with the arcade races as long as I play a front-wheel drive car, I'm so awful with the rally races it's embarrassing.
  2. Are there not enough KOTOR3 threads already? And as pointed out, the PC release of K2 hasn't even happened yet, so let's lay off the K3 threads for a bit, okay?
  3. Which is a fine reason to lock it. The PC release is very soon, and it's likely past the point of any input on the DVD vs CD debate being of any benefit.
  4. Disagreeing does not equal trolling, flaming and otherwise insulting or belittling someone else's opinion.
  5. Constantine trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/constantine/
  6. A franchise is just a license, it doesn't imply an on-going stream of regular product releases. The KOTOR name does well, and I'm sure it'll show up again somewhere at some time from someone, but it depends on so many different things.
  7. Fallout Fallout 2 Icewind Dale 2 Icewind Dale/Heart Of Winter Caesar III Pharaoh Arcanum Call Of Duty Neverwinter Nights/SOU/HOTU Galactic Civilizations/Altarian Prophecy Age Of Wonders: Shadow Magic Civilization III/Play The World Medieval: Total War/Viking Invasion Vampire: Bloodlines Rally Trophy Thief: Deadly Shadows That's it at the moment; I recently cleared out a bunch of stuff.
  8. This thread is now locked as it's definately past any usefulness. And Eru, no more quote trees!
  9. All right, this thread is done with. I've asked people to stop with the Obsidian vs Bioware board debate, and then it just be dropped. If anyone has personal issues with other individuals, I ask that you take it to PMs and not use the public forums as a personal arguement arena. I understand that recent events have been trying on many of us, but it's time to move ahead.
  10. None of this really has anything to do with system requirements, does it?
  11. I found there were quite a few questions containing a double negative in the statement, which can be easily confusing and cause a person to misunderstand the question or statement.
  12. Right. That said, it's never been the aim of any of the moderator team to restrict the boards to the point of everyone always has to be nice and friendly and whatnot, all we ask is that people treat each other with respect.
  13. The sort of people we need around are those who are interested in gaming and willing to discuss it without resorting to flames and trolling. There's been a lot of talk lately about "communities" and so forth, which incorporates people from all aspects of the hobby. Saying we don't need certain sorts based on accusations isn't exactly helping anything, after all. All are welcome here, of course, I'd very much like it to seem that way.
  14. We're talking over what to do with the boards for the PC release now, so it is very much on the agenda to get things ready. Whether we do a Spoilers forum for the PC or not remains to be seen.
  15. Yeah, Bard is kind of the original prestige class. But the 3E Bard is much improved over the 2nd Edition Bard.. more class diversity and a more specialised casting repertoire.
  16. I've removed some posts. Trolling someone for liking the game is really poor form (or for not liking the game as well, you get the idea) and I ask that you have some respect for your fellow board members. You may disagree, but that's no need to call someone's thoughts crap and mock them. So please, if you haven't anything of merit to add, don't add anything. Thanks.
  17. Yeah.... but it's Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, and, as you might surmise from that, the film looks nothing like the Hellblazer comicbooks.
  18. In favour of a newer thread on much the same topic, this one is now locked. New thread: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=28922
  19. Didn't we already have this disussion, and started by the same person as well? http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=28374
  20. I think something to keep in mind is that NWN2 is but one game, and that there will be more from Obsidian and so a more expansive or vibrant community. That may be a while yet, and losing the NWN2 forums definately took a big wind out of the forum's sails, but it is only temporary. As for the lack of a replacement forum, Obsidian have been extremely busy; the move of the forums also coincided with their passing of a "major milestone" in NWN2's development, so the resources for tending to these boards just haven't been available. Essentially, we've got to be patient. Just think, you'll be able to reminisce on the forums in a few years time about The Big Move of '05 and how you were there and witnessed the blood and tears.
  21. I'm sure by now Obsidian are well aware of these threads and the desire to have an NWN2 forum here as well. Whether that happens or not, I don't know, as I'm not at all aware of the particulars (just the basic reasoning) and conditions behind the forum move. Unfortunately, I have to just ask for people to be patient. Believe me, I want these boards to thrive and I've seen some very good points made by various people here on a variety of issues, and hopefully this is now just a rought spot in the road that we'll be able to get over.
