  1. Please don't bump your own topics like that. Particularly when said bumps are mere hours apart.
  2. I like it! A bit unweildly though to use.
  3. Um, no, let's not. For a whole host of reasons, this isn't cool.
  4. Unless minds have been recently changed, Mad Max 4: Fury Road was cancelled. True, Hades, very true...
  5. Both are WinXP systems, one has the service pack, the other does not. Neither have a firewall active.
  6. I've installed AVG7.0 on two systems recently and have had no problems at all and definately not the sort you experienced.
  7. Your suspicion is quite wrong, Eru, and there was no reporting involved. Fionavar asked that you act in a respectful manner and you treated his request with contempt and continued to flame people asking about KOTOR2 fanfic. As for not thinking you violated forum rules, here are two that apply: And a third with a clear resolution which applies to your case: If there are people you enjoy talking to here, that's great, please continue to do so, but there's no need to be a jerk towards other people you don't enjoy speaking with or that bother you.
  8. I'm locking this not because it contains a displeasureable review but because it's pretty much a trashed thread.
  9. Right... Unfortunately like all these threads, the result is always the same.
  10. It makes my skin crawl the way Anakin has been portrayed; it nearly destroys Vader for me. I mean, he's a great evil because he's a whiny, petulant brat? That's not Vader. Even in the trailer it's such a contradiction, going from that kid to the Vader.
  11. Spoiler Forum: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showforum=33
  12. While your enthusiasm for the game is certainly encouraging, do you think you can keep the spam down somewhat? We have these tidy new forums with specific purposes in mind, and it'd be really nice to keep them focused on that purpose. The old spoiler monstrosity was locked for a reason, not so a new version could be started.
  13. Hmm.. Auction ended and so is this thread.
  14. Yes, we do try to keep on top of the over-size signatures, though by no means do we always catch them all.
  15. People sure are fluent at speaking spam!
  16. Sounds like telling him he's SOL would be the most satisfying resolution to the matter.
  17. No, no-one can do a Planescape game, but there's nothing that says a D&D game set in the planes cannot be done. Of course, Atari may not wish a D&D planar game made and can veto any developer requests to make such a game.
  18. Nope. I classify it as "cool".
  19. As long as the links don't go somewhere questionable (ie porn, illegal warez, etc) then links in signatures are fine. I'm not sure what you mean by no reporting being needed though. Here, it's an invaluable tool.
  20. The "official" D&D setting has always been Greyhawk, but FR books are what keep getting churned out, hence the popularity of the campaign setting - there's just so much material.
  21. True. But what you can do is let a moderator know if you find a spoiler post or spoiler thread in the non-spoiler forums, and we can take care of it. I know it doesn't help those already spoiled, but it may prevent others from suffering the same doom. People who persist in posting spoliers in the wrong places will also be dealt with.
  22. That's inspired, Newc. :D WOTC no longer supports the Planescape setting as an offical campaign setting, so doing a Planescape Torment 2 isn't going to happen.
  23. Clearly this thread is past any meaningful purpose.
  24. Ramza, I realise you want The Black Hound to be made, many of us do. But you've clearly made your position known, contacted the apporpriate people, there's nothing else to be done. Feargus is not obligated to answer in such direct and final way, and it's not cool to demand he do so in order to get you to stop posting about Jefferson. I think that he has answered you, as well as JE answering you, ought to be well above and beyond anything that could be expected. So, on that note, I'm locking this thread.
  25. I think you're reading more into it than I am, Newc. You're making the assumption that an R rating automatically equals graphic violence. Pitch Black was R rated after all, so make of that what you will. You say that an R-rating means more graphic violence and not the noir style of PB, yet PB had an R rating, so I'm not quite sure of where your argument is going.
