  1. I wouldn't call a 100 people "a small team". you don't have to have thousands of people working on one project to be a big team. 2 people is a really small team.
  2. these are awesome looking
  3. I just realized that Cricket is voiced by the same person, that voiced Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2. And she even has the same lines! Another proof that my theory is correct (the one about Fallout 4 being Bethesda's attempt at making a Bordelands clone)
  4. I think the gameplay in New Vegas was very similar to Fallout 2. it's the Van Buren I always wanted.
  5. the thing is, there aren't that many good co-op games to begin with (at least, not on PC)
  6. maybe because he doesn't like competition, and wants to be the only pirate on these seas boards?
  7. Please explain. what I mean is, in its original form, Fallout wouldn't work for me, if I saw it for the first time today. it has many little things that annoy the hell out of me. like the interaction menu, the way the inventory is set up, the way combat is paced, character movement in turn-based mode, camera perspective (I can't count the times I missed a door or a stairwell because of how they're placed behind a wall so it just blends into the wall) etc. and then, of course, the companions... I played FO2 before trying the original game. by the time I got to playing Fallout I already knew to avoid taking companions with me, so I went through most of the game solo (taking Tycho with me to save Tandi and killing him when at the raiders' hideout, because he already had become annoying by then). to be frank, I think Fallout Tactics has aged a lot better than Fallout has. that game I like replaying simply for its level design. what I really like about Fallout is the SPECIAL and how combat is designed around it. in my opinion, Fallout's interpretation of TB combat is second only to Jagged Alliance 2.
  8. the original Fallout isn't that good of a game, though. it's a great RPG, but its mechanics don't hold up today. I wish someone would make a game, that's like Fallout at heart, but with modern graphics and UI, better companions, and improved combat.
  9. I have to say, I really like the music in this game. not the 50s stuff on the radio, but the music in the background, that plays during combat etc. it's *really* good. I'd love to own FO4's soundtrack.
  10. Dungeon Siege 2 was awful, I couldn't take more than 10 hours of it. Dungeon Siege 1 I actually liked, but could never finish it. Dungeon Siege 3 was a very good coop game in my opinion, and is the only DS game I've ever finished. so, yes, I'd love to see a Dungeon Siege 4 made by Obsidian, where they take all the negative feedback from DS3 and fix what needs to be fixed.
  11. co-op games would actually be really cool to watch (more fun than horror games for me)
  12. I would actually want both: an "isometric" Fallout game on the Pillars of Eternity engine (Fallout Tactics 2?), and New Vegas 2 - made by Obsidian.
  13. so, I am watching this let's play on YouTube, and the Brotherhood of Steel appears for the first time. It's the BoS from Fallout Tactics, but they somehow became even worse. the next episode starts with a BoS vertibird crashing down under heavy fire from the raiders. my brow goes up, but I let it slide. then, in the next episode I see another vertibird crash. then another one... and this just sealed the deal. this isn't Fallout. BoS cares so much about their stuff, even parting with a single Plasma Rifle would be hard, but in FO4 they just waste precious fuel on sending out vertibird patrols (even the flippin' US Army doesn't use transport helicopters for that kind of tasks, and they have fuel coming out of their ears). then they are OK with losing a vertibird every now and again? this is BS. one other thing that makes me uneasy (aside from the stupidly named guns, taken straight from Borderlands - even some gun models look exactly the same) is the way certain enemies "mutate" into stronger versions of themselves right in front of you (you know, like those Juggernauts from Borderlands 2). this says a lot about Bethesda's real intentions. I think, what's happened was Zenimax/Bethesda realized Rage was going nowhere, but the prospect of having their own Bordelands game was so tempting they just couldn't help themselves and decided to turn Fallout into Rage. so, my prediction: the next Fallout game from Bethesda will have a 2-person coop. EDIT: just witnessed another vertibird crash and realized, that the Knights it carried all had Power Armor equipped. a few veritibird crashes in FO4 would be equal to a complete wipeout of a BoS chapter in FO1... what a joke
  14. these covers are awesome. probably, the single awesome thing about this game
  15. exceptions could be made, for example, watching Chris Avellone playing Arcanum was very interesting :D
  16. Am I the only one who would much rather see Obsidianites play the games they worked on instead of randomly picked stuff?
  17. designs of these weapons couldn't get any worse... it's one thing when you look at an icon in your UI bar, it's another thing when it's sticking out of your face the whole game. not touching FO4 until there is a good weapon mod for it.
  18. I like how it has legendary creatures with bloated HP pools and legendary loot, that - with bloated stats. what has become of Fallout?
  19. how big is the map in FO4 compared to New Vegas?
  20. https://www.humblebundle.com/
