I finally bought the Ultimate Edition of FNV, so a new playthrough is in order. This time with J. E. Sawyer's rebalance mod and a bunch of visual enhancements for flavor. In my quest for cool looking weapons and models I came across this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msd1bzwYuqo While it was tough to find the R.S.A. mod (by Master_Shifu, not featured on Nexus, probably due to legal considerations), I did find an archive that claims to be this mod. But The Rock in DEVGRU equipment is what I really want for my game, and I can't find it Anyone know how this can be achieved? I found references to a certain mod pack called VGU (by dragbody), which apparently features equipment from games like Modern Warfare 3, where this particular armor could've been lifted from, but the mod itself is pretty much impossible to track down. Another mod I found (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40661/?) is called Famous People, this seems like a good candidate for having The Rock's face. Anyway, can someone help me out in identifying the mods in the video?

ok, false alarm. my friend has no patience and no common sense, apparently, she just went and bought an Inspiron 7000 or something on an impulse.

ooooh, that's interesting, thanks!

well, it only needs to run Photoshop well, that's the main requirement. so if the 4GB version can do that, it will do fine. not sure what Photoshop needs in terms of hardware

800$ is a really good price, I haven't seen it go for so little, most sites list it at 1100-1200$

ok, downloading the client now, thanks for the referral code

watched 2 new movies tonight, both were great. The Gift is a suspense drama about a guy, who comes back to his hometown with his wife and bumps into one of his former classmates. it later turns out these two have history, and the whole movie revolves around them trying to come to terms with it. I really didn't expect where this movie was going, and was pleasantly surprised. even though it's a bit high on the creep factor scale. Mississippi Grind is a road movie about two gamblers. And I don't know if I should say more, because this should be enough for you to decide whether or not it's worth watching. I'll just say that the two lead actors are amazing in it.

So, I am in need of an advice. My friend wants to buy a Dell XPS 13. And no matter how much I try to talk her out of it, she won't budge. I am wondering if there's a good place that sells laptops and ships them to Canada cheaply? Can one even save a decent amount of money by buying a high-end laptop online?

the Japanese name their cars "Mark II", "Mark III" and so on. not strictly a military term, you know

I can't help but cringe whenever I hear someone say "em-kay". Mk is read "mark", god dammit

I consider all these XCOM remakes and rehashes redundant, because they all are worse than the original. but, man, what I wouldn't give for an XCOM Apocalypse remake taht fixed some of the original's problems- 487 replies

with the advent of the Humble Monthly Bundle I want to put one thing out there: I won't hold it against you, if you toss a copy of Endless Legend or Dying Light my way when it inevitably lands in your HB account. just sayin'- 487 replies

I don't know who Wildstar was made for, to be honest. it's too similar to WoW in places, where it matters the least, and where it kind of distances itself from WoW it becomes completely unbearable

Anonymity does wonders to people, I guess -
AP's setting was too wacky for my taste. Obsids were dangerously close to MGS territory there. I'd much rather have a GITS game than another AP, personally. but I would *love* to play a proper modern times RPG
-
I keep dreaming of a time when I'll be playing an Alpha Protocol spiritual successor in the GITS universe
-
it's a PvP-only game, as far as I can tell, yet another Call of Duty clone. what a waste of a license
-
you should try Project Reality

yeah, but Diablo (2) has perfect button mashing. it's the best game for a mouse and keyboard ever. -

Googling indicates that it involves planning and execution phases, so you plan moves, the AI does and then everything gets acted out. I guess it cuts the payoff of negative tactics ? I've never played a game with it, at least any I can recall - possibly something in a wargame. it's basically when your combat is broken into evenly timed bits in between which you get to pick orders/actions for your characters. check out Frozen Synapse gameplay, it's one of the better implemented phase based combat systems out there

wow, this looks a million times better than Original Sin (including the artwork). I might actually pick this up when it's out
