  1. I see some of 4chan's humor has rubbed off on you. I'm disappointed.
  2. He's improving though. Liked the last scene even though the ending was obvious.
  3. I beg to differ; pistols are great for shooting accurately from cover, non-lethal playtroughs and the chain shot is great for downing multiple enemies immediately. Each weapon seems to try and cover all bases though, to sort of balance all situations for each class.
  4. Returning character interactions from the first game and not ME style. You spend the whole game making enemies or allies with different factions and agents, it should count for something. Plus Sis will probably be legal next game
  5. Clearly, you don't know anything about modding, mate... Look what we did for STALKER here. You are on the Lurk team?! You are automatically my favorite person On that note when will V1.1 ready? >-<
  6. True. Way to mod that would be handy - not for "cheating" purposes, but more for balancing and making things more realistic. Same with weapons prices - which are quite ridiculous sometimes (like clip of tranquilliser ammo, which costs more than basic pistol on hard = LOL) I've been looking for the price and clearinghouse files for a long time now and I can say that they are not in the inis. Maybe I'll have more luck with the game files.
  7. Any info on how to diy or release?
  8. I doubt it since a lot of the conversation depend on the outcomes of missions.
  9. Again it must be said that there isn't proof that this is because of human interference, these mini-Ice Ages seem to happen at intervals. The most recent one during the middle ages. So Al Gore can take his manbearpig elsewhere.
  10. I already have and it works perfectly. 5, is a 1 hit kill.
  11. Sorry my PC crapped out on me in the middle of the sentence. My point was that after destabilizing the area we need to ensure that the right group assumes power since the Anti-American sentiment on the zone must be at an all time high.
  12. I'm thinking the same. These might be just settings for something tied with how much whatever is needed to get that perk or how much bonus you get when perk is acquired. I bet those values change when you choose game difficulty or between Rookie/Veteran type of game. In other words, maybe it's possible to alter them after you choose difficulty to make the game either more difficult or easier in some areas. Whole "rule" though which "writes" those values in ini file is buried somewhere in the scripts for sure. Would be cool to compare those values with different difficulties or character choices. Those are the requirements to unlock the perk changing the number after the = allows you to mod it. Works quite well but doesn't affect the values of the perks themselves maybe after some looking around, someone will find them.
  13. I swear this is going to end up being the unofficial Russian anthem.
  14. Yes, you can change the settings on the DefaultInput.ini Look for the "+bindings" lines and set them to your liking. If you are talking about the walking animations on the first minute of gameplay, then this won't help.
  15. More tweaks I've found on the internet.
  16. Hmm, I smell a plot hole here
  17. Does self defense include beating the living tar out of a guy 60 lbs lighter with a baseball bat while wearing armor because he said "I'm gonna get ya!"? Because that is basically the war in iraq in a nutshell... militarily they would do better with harsh language. Aesop The Frog and the Lion. "either less noise or more size" Self preservation should tell one when to shut up.
  18. Found these on another site, haven't tested.
  19. Not likely without added textures. Question for everyone out there, does anyone knows what the +seekfreepackage lines are for?. They are in the Defaultengine.ini
  20. Splice warning
  21. Not only would be rendered futile if found but it would kill the idea altogether since the next protest would dismissed. Plus it only leaves a short list of causes for protest that actually make sense. Pepsi vs Cola, who would actually protest that? Cola wins hands down.
  22. I'm beginning to think that all these complaints about graphics are actually over the textures loading in the middle of the game.
  23. @Oner: That still doesn't change the fact that aside from nostalgia or curiosity, there is not much reason to go back and revisit them. Or in the case of the younger generation, to actually play them through. @Nightshape: Let's not argue semantics, shooters have had isometric or linear views. FPS won't have a turn based system. @Mammoulian: They are a dying breed, which is a shame. I do love old school JRPGs
  24. I did and afterwards it was non responsive. Also a new one, the mysteriously appearing enemy that pops out of nowhere even when you have master awareness.
