  1. Until this thread, I never realised anyone was using such options. Actually, I can't recall any game, aside from the ME's who got it. It's popular there or something? Almost every JRPG has it.
  2. Lady Crimson, i'm sorry to inform you that you husband has bad taste Yea, the last scene was the most interesting for me, from a chr. motivation standpoint. Yeah, that was really the original turnabout and not the big reveal.
  3. Still that's just a wild jump. That a country that still has to deal with all the unrest in the area will start a war with a western nation.

  5. You do realize that you are arguing for AP whilst he is against mini-games in general? I don't think that we can save this one. Another alternative to EMP is the printed circuitry gloves, gives enough boost that the mini-games are not disruptive.
  6. Hmm... A nation with a tiny appendix of an armed force, supplemented by a bunch of maudlin psychopaths, against a nation almost entirely focussed on war since its inception? Could be fun to watch. For about ten minutes. Palestine vs Ireland would be a better match up. Tonight on Deadliest Warrior!
  7. I already tried that, but he's so far out on the edge that the soldiers from the alley entrance will have immediate line of sight to him. The soldiers on the opposite side of the alley will eventually have run around Surkov and gunned him down from behind. Also if I would place myself on that side, I wouldn't be able to fire at the soldier on top of the roof infront of him to the left. With the talents I have chosen I can't take down the guards in such a fast pace before he dies. Had the same trouble on my first playthrough. As soon as you come out the door and all the guys line up chain shot, the focus on all the guys on the left, assault rifle and grenades work wonders. Then it just becomes a game of killing as many as you can, once you meet the check the conversation will start, so focus on the weakest ones. BTW, this should be on the spoiler section.

  9. So Obama is channeling his father's struggle instead of just deflecting the U.S. incompetence in dealing with these kinds of disasters. It has been a hot potato game with responsibility since this started and continues with all the morbid details that have been uncovered about the MMP. From the looks of it doesn't seem to end soon, I feel like i'm going to be swimming in oil soon.

  12. I beg to differ; pistols are great for shooting accurately from cover, non-lethal playtroughs and the chain shot is great for downing multiple enemies immediately. Each weapon seems to try and cover all bases though, to sort of balance all situations for each class.
  13. Returning character interactions from the first game and not ME style. You spend the whole game making enemies or allies with different factions and agents, it should count for something. Plus Sis will probably be legal next game

  15. True. Way to mod that would be handy - not for "cheating" purposes, but more for balancing and making things more realistic. Same with weapons prices - which are quite ridiculous sometimes (like clip of tranquilliser ammo, which costs more than basic pistol on hard = LOL) I've been looking for the price and clearinghouse files for a long time now and I can say that they are not in the inis. Maybe I'll have more luck with the game files.

  17. Again it must be said that there isn't proof that this is because of human interference, these mini-Ice Ages seem to happen at intervals. The most recent one during the middle ages. So Al Gore can take his manbearpig elsewhere.

  19. Sorry my PC crapped out on me in the middle of the sentence. My point was that after destabilizing the area we need to ensure that the right group assumes power since the Anti-American sentiment on the zone must be at an all time high.
  20. I'm thinking the same. These might be just settings for something tied with how much whatever is needed to get that perk or how much bonus you get when perk is acquired. I bet those values change when you choose game difficulty or between Rookie/Veteran type of game. In other words, maybe it's possible to alter them after you choose difficulty to make the game either more difficult or easier in some areas. Whole "rule" though which "writes" those values in ini file is buried somewhere in the scripts for sure. Would be cool to compare those values with different difficulties or character choices. Those are the requirements to unlock the perk changing the number after the = allows you to mod it. Works quite well but doesn't affect the values of the perks themselves maybe after some looking around, someone will find them.

  22. Yes, you can change the settings on the DefaultInput.ini Look for the "+bindings" lines and set them to your liking. If you are talking about the walking animations on the first minute of gameplay, then this won't help.
