Anyone else ever get the feeling of walking into a crowded room as the only one not in uniform and not allowed to carry arms, when you login to these forums..?

I wonder if I should try to sell my level 60 paladin?

Free-roaming games are great, no matter what!!1 Well, almost. I did get an urge to play the game after watching that youtube video at least. Too bad it has to be about a Superhero though. More free-roaming RPG's instead! I'd love a RPG that played out in a town of that size seen in the Superman game.

Oh yeah, I forgot: check out what landed in my mail this morning! I guess I should be playing one of those now.. I love DVD packs )

Yeah, I can't remember any planes either. I also can't remember the game being that colourful. I only remember a black background and white, blocky graphics on top of that. Weird.

Yeah, I bought Psychonauts for my girlfriend on her birthday back in February. We completed it a while ago (well, mostly my girlfriend as I'm not too fond of plaformers myself). I loved the story and characters. Perhaps I should try Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory? I've never quite liked Splinter Cell, but after Blood Money I've quite gotten hang of these stealthy types of games..

Ok, so I finished Hitman: Blood Money tonight. I must say that the ending of the game was probably the best ending I've seen in a long while. Actually, off the top of my head, I can't think of any other ending that's been as unexpected and satisfactory as this one.. Great game, all in all!

I just finished Hitman: Blood Money, and now I don't know what to play..

Hey, I think I remember that game! I think it was even called Tank (or Combat?). Wasn't that for the Intellivision? You could play it against a friend and your shots ricochetted (is that a word?) inside the maze, so you basically had to try and calculate how to hit the other tank, almost like a game of pool. It might have been for the Colecovision.. I have to look it up! Edit: Found it. It was called Combat but it seems it was for the Atari 2600. That's odd, because I clearly remember an ugly black box with two even uglier controls attached to it. It also had these plastic cartridges containing games that you plugged into the console to be able to play. Much like the NES games, but uglier. Edit 2: I was referring to Kaftan's post, but someone got in between.

Not envious at all. Merely sharpening my pitchfork and passing out torches to the lynch mob that's going to drive you out of town for coming here un-Fallout-ed and mingling with us hardc0re RPGerzzz!!

Unfortunately, that's quite normal. It's also the reason why I prefer the tough man attitude of hockey far more than the reward-the-sissy attitude of football.

Not sure what got me hooked, but the first game I remember buying and playing extensively was Jet Pac for my ZX Spectrum 48k. The game that got me hooked on RPG's was Wasteland on the Commodore 64. My first encounter with the world of D&D was Pool of Radiance from the Gold Box series (they still have the best box art I've ever seen) on the Commodore 64.

Yeah, I am glad we don't have to rely on that over-the-hill alcoholic anymore. But they traded Tuukka Rask to get Raycroft.. I'm just so sick of seeing the Leafs keep trading away all their youth in exchange for 30+ players (yeah, I know Raycroft is only 26, but other trades). No wonder the Leafs roster looks like a trip down to the retirement center. For once the Leafs had to rely on some young players (because of all the injuries last season) and Steen stood head and shoulders above the rest. Unfortunately the rookies weren't enough to save the season, which is probably why they're trade bait right now. Pronger is a great player, but to me he comes at a way too great cost. And noone knows if young players will actually make use of the potential they have in them, noone knows how long they will play for any team and all that, but I am willing to give it a shot (for once) instead of getting players like Nolan, Leetch, and that expensive old guy (Al something?) who played like 14 games for the Leafs before retiring.. with full million dollar pay.

I don't know what grade I get, but I usually never get a cleanup deduction (except first mission, when I didn't know an assassin wasn't allowed to actually, you know, kill people) and I've made a habit of only taking one gun (usually the silverballer, silenced) and getting my suit back before I leave. I think $100,000 bonus is what I get for finishing with that grade. I loved the "Until Death Do Us Apart" level. I think it was called that. Yiihaa! Anyhow, I am on a mission to kill the vice-president inside the White House. As usual I brought my trusty silverballer (now fully equipped with a scope, silencer, a huge magazine and all sorts of neat stuff), but After that it was a piece of cake, although I didn't finish the mission yet because I love to explore the many different ways of taking out your target first.

Does that mean we'll never see Sudoku on the PSP? Or can you do Sudoku in 3D?

It's not the force of the headbutt that counts, it's the action itself. It's like when Beckham kicked that italian player when lying down (Euro 2000?) and got sent off. He missed the kick, but because he tried to kick another player deliberately, he was sent off anyhow. Figo headbutted the dutch player so no matter if he missed, hit weakly or hit him hard, he should be sent off.

I don't know what they should have done. But I feel they chose the worst possible option, by letting themselves get dragged down to that ugly level. Maybe if they had kept on going like normal, the referee would have handled the situation better? I don't know.

Recently I've noticed that a few of my posts have gone mysteriously missing, although I don't remember using either bad words or breaking any board rules. Usually when I (or someone else) ask what happened to the post, the reply I/we get is, "If you have any questions/complaints about the moderating, please use a personal message to bring it up with the moderator in question". The problems occur when the post just goes missing. Who do I contact? How do I find out who removed it? Why was it removed? Is Feargus actually a post-eating alien from Mars? A suggestion I have would be to add an automated system for these sort of actions. If a moderator decides to remove a post, why not let the board automatically send a message to the author of said post, letting that poster know when, where and by whom the post was removed? I feel it would add some sort of system/method to what can sometimes be perceived as random moderating on these boards. Something simple as, "You had a post removed from the thread "Kirottu is a buttmuncher" in Way Off Topic, by Fionavar, Today, 07:33 AM" in the message title, with an optional explanation from the moderator as the message itself would suffice. Just my two

A lot of my posts have started disappearing mysteriously in the last few days.. Anyhow, on a serious note, everytime I have gotten a map in the box, I've been very pleasantly surprised. I have only received one puny cloth map and that's the best damn map I've ever had. It holds a special place in my collection, even though the game itself does not (Ultima IV: Ascension). So yes, a cloth map would be really nice to have. Especially if the map is actually usable and not only an artists view of the gameworld, even if that can be nice too.

I'm from Sweden. I'm so neutral it hurts (and makes people vomit). I thought Portugal made fools of themselves in that game, and Holland was almost as bad. I'm not sure what happened but my theory is that Holland got caught in the bad atmosphere on the field and lowered themselves to playing at Portugal's level. I have never seen Holland act/play like that before. Yes, I know that everyone in Portugal are going to hate me for it, but that's how I saw it. If I had to choose a villain in that game it would clearly go to Portugal, even though everything escalated with the help of the stupidity of the dutch.

In four years Pronger is 35 and probably becoming another Chris Chelios. In four years Steen is 26 and is two to four years away from reaching his prime as a two-way center. Call me crazy, but I can see a future captain in Alexander Steen. And I wasn't implying that Pronger is a dinosaur. Quinn is gone now and with him goes the "veterans first, young talent a very distant second" attitude. I can acknowledge that Pronger is a great player on small rinks, but I'd much rather have Steen for a decade than Pronger for a few years.

Noooo no no no!! I just read a rumour that the Leafs are very interested in Pronger.. and that the Oilers want Alexander Steen in return! I know Pronger is probably what the Leafs need right now, but not Steen! He's been the best and most reliable center all year long for the Leafs, even better than Sundin. And that was in his rookie year. For someone as interested in dinosaurs as Quinn was, letting Steen play as consistently as he did was a huge show of trust for Steen's abilities. 22 years old he is getting considerable icetime in boxplay, five-on-five and powerplay.. Apparently the Leafs are offering Matt Stajan and Tomas Kaberle (geez, that's the other half of our future, since we already stupidly traded away Tuukka Rask..), but the Oilers want Steen and Kaberle. Yes, let's rob us blind, why don't you.
