I acrtually don't know. The way they "taught" us that in the army was that the officers told us to "get sleep whenever you can" and then they forced us to work for weeks on end without proper sleep. You eventually got used to that weird rhythm and were able to fall asleep as soon as you got a free minute. Then an officer would come along ten minutes later and yell at you, and you'd be back at work. Repeat ad nauseum, and TADA, you've learnt how to fall asleep in no-time. I remember sleeping standing, leaned against a tree while on "guard duty". Hannibal and his elephant army could have walked past my guard sentry post.

Edit: Hey, I just noticed that the game is on sale.. but it still costs $45 (329 SEK)! Isn't that like normal price in the US? A normal Xbox 360 game in Sweden is $80-85 (579-629 SEK)! Strange that 329 SEK still feels cheap to me..

Strangely enough, I was more excited when I heard that Looking Glass (well, almost, Irrational, Looking Glass, what's the difference?) were going to do a spiritual sequel to System Shock 2. But the more I actually see of the game the less impressed I feel. There's something about the game that's not attractive to me, petty or not. It annoys me that I can't put a finger on what is wrong.

I think the graphics have the potential to be great.. if you own a gaming system worth $8000. Edit: speeling.

Well, I can tell none of you have been in the army, right? The first thing you learn is to fall asleep. Anywhere, anytime, any position. I can sleep standing. I (probably) need less than a minute to fall asleep if I want to sleep (this annoys the hell out of my girlfriend who has a much harder time to fall asleep). It's very practical. Usually I get 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

If you shoot someone in the head, both his eyes and his brains are going to come flying out, no matter what. To be able to shoot someone in the eyes to blind him is so incredibly stupid it hurts. I don't know how many times I've tried to explain to you: CRPG does not automatically mean isometric view. A CRPG is still a CRPG in first person view. It's still a CRPG even if the combat lends elements from the FPS genre. It's just more interactive.

I've been playing Darkstar One. It's a fun little space simulator, not entirely different from Freelancer. It's a bit repetitive (like all space simulators, apparently) but it has some neat features, like a ship that levels instead of you. It's a classic case of "Oh, if only they had done this and that and it would have been GREAT!" kind of game.

My computer couldn't even get any fps when trying to display that picture of Gothic 3's system demands

I am in the process of upgrading my system myself. I have an AGP GPU, DDR RAM and a Socket A CPU. My new system is going to be PCI-E for the GPU, DDR2 RAM and SOcket 775 (Intel) for the CPU. That means nothing is migratable! I have to buy all the internal stuff at once, or I'll have either loose parts lying around for ages, or a nonfunctioning computer until I get the last part. It sucks. At least I can keep my Antec P180 case and my Cooltek 600W PSU.
