  1. Well, I do own Borderlands.. but none of the expansions. I'm also in GMT +1.
  2. Yeah what the **** was up with that. I remember finding that model house and being so intrigued by it. But you needed 100% lockpick to be able to open it, which I did not have at the time, so I actually wrote down the location of it on a piece of paper so I wouldn't forget to go back to it once I hit lockpick that high.. Imagine my utter disappointment when I finally got it open.
  3. This is my most anticipated game of the tournament. Too bad it comes so early. Sweden has looked.. mediocre. Only good game they've played was against Finland, but the Finns were asleep that game so it didn't tell us much. I have a feeling we're gonna get into trouble against Slovakia, even though Slovakia played evenly against Norway (Heja Norge!).
  4. A bit.. too much to the head of Jagr. But otherwise an awesome hit.
  5. A bit more info would help. Are you looking for top of the line stuff? Are you on a budget? Are you interested in overclocking? What kind of OS are you planning to run on it (will you need DirectX 11..)? Are you interested in USB3 and SATA3? Are you one of the believers that you can actually hear a difference between a discreet soundcard and a built-in one? Are you likely to implement either Crossfire or SLI? Do you have an older system you'll scavenge parts from?
  6. I don't think you understand. That's the problem right there! Before Lahti, we Swedes were proud of our little cluster of nations in the north. We cheered for names like D
  7. I think Ubisoft has found a way to battle piracy: don't let anyone play your game. Ever. Almost. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/02/17/you-maniacs/ Now THAT is where I draw my line. I was kind of looking forward to Assassin's Creed 2 too. Damnit.
  8. Not really. I'm waiting for the hockey tournament to get going (tonight for Sweden). But the Finns ruined cross country skiing for me with their systematic doping. Stupid Finns!
  9. Link me to the SSD. I'm thinking of getting one too.
  10. I finally figured out the Oasis quest! I had been attacking the quest fro the wrong angle (the end) instead of the beginning! Also, I had missed the entrance because of the ever ongoing war outside the other entrance close by. DAMNIT. Thanks for the tip though, RPGmasterBoo. And I hadn't realized what a lame nickname you have until I typed it out just now.
  11. That's odd. I'm usually very thorough in my exploring.. I have to check that out right now, I think
  12. No, I didn't. That's the only quest I found that I couldn't solve..
  13. tl;dr
  14. Uhm, I don't remember! I remember the minefield. I never quite solved HOW to get through it safely, I just jumped like a madman in the direction of the corpse that's lying in the middle of it. I figured, he must have gotten that far and died from blast, basically clearing a path for me. Oh, and forget about the coded door for now. The Jupiter plant.. hmm.. I know one of the helicopters was only reachable through a guide. You need to jump through an anomaly somewhere.. But I am not sure if that was the Jupiter one.
  15. Funny. This reminds me of that thread where someone suggested we should have a forum meet. This is the picture I got in my head then:
  16. It's actually called 4XX now. Nvidia rebranded some of their old cards (probably the 8800 again..) as the 3XX series so now Fermi will be called 4XX.
  17. It was supposed to be PC only with QuadCore as minimun requirement and complete DX10 utilization. How the times change. No, it was supposed to be the poster child for (Intel) quad core utilization, not that it was supposed to be the minimum requirement. It would run on two cores too (minimum requirement).
  18. Aahh, nothing like a little nerd rage to vent my frustration over this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/alan-wak...ly-binned-on-pc Yeah, **** you, Remedy. **** you.
  19. You need to check your brain, it is currently malfunctioning.
  20. I remember this! I didn't own a PC at the time so I played it on a dorm friend's computer! Wow, that brings out memories. It was really pretty and ran crappily on my friends Geforce 2 GTS (which he was very proud of). It was also very buggy and very difficult. http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/whee...ime/screenshots
  21. Preview up at Eurogamer: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/fable-iii-x10-preview I must say that it really does sound exciting. And I love that they've replaced the experience points system with followers! Brilliant! Morphing, trade-able weapons sounds very neat too. Oh, and the hand-holding mechanic could potentially be a blast. True co-op (as in, you're not in any way connected to each other, other than being in the same world) is another great feature. If only it wasn't Molyneux hyping it..
  22. It's a bit sad that the trailers all focus on the silly weapons and the over-the-top violence. I played the first Dead Rising, and to me it felt like an open-ended action RPG with Saint's Row 2 character customization and a touch of survival horror thrown in. If the sequel is anything near that, it's a definite buy for me.
  23. This is the only reason I'm thinking of picking up Mass Effect 2 too. In a while, when it's cheap. I would never agree with reason 2 though, and reason 4 is just silly.
  24. Don't you know? " "

No, he is a bulldozer too: That's 250lbs Hal Gill he slams into the ice! Gill used to play for my Leafs. Trust me, the guy is soft, but he's huge.
