  1. Wikileaks has finally confirmed that Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany (& probably Italy as well) have nuclear weapons stored.
  2. I don't remember that, but... sure. She has the exact same hawt body as Leliana, but doesn't pull weird faces. What's not to like?
  3. Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII.
  4. Arya pics, please. Kthxbye.
  5. She has a huge chin and FemShep neck. Not very flattering. Is she customizable?
  6. Hint: don't do the labyrinth sidequests. I wasted hours expecting some grand reward, and got almost nothing in the end.
  7. What was horrible about the swamp was that huge, kickass plant popping up on the most inopportune times. I couldn't kill on my first playthrough and had to run away constantly.
  8. It wouldn't fit a game like this anyway to run around like a pipsqueek in a stupid looking robe & wizard hat.
  9. Yeah, she even named her son Chris. Chris Avelline...
  10. I'm glad they removed permanent effect potions from the game. Melee becomes easy quickly. I took out several Dead knights at level 11, while in the first game this would have been pretty much impossible. Also, spiders are not a threat anymore since they have no longer have poison attack, which was very deadly in the first game. Not to mention, if you can take out a Cyclops without losing health, it's already pretty much guaranteed that the rest of the game won't be a challenge anymore. Still, I haven't had as much fun playing a melee character since Blade of Darkness. The exploration is a bit disappointing, though. The few accessible dungeons (most are locked because they're tied to sidequests) contain very little of worth, save a few locked chests containing level-scaled loot. The interiors are generally impressive, though.
  11. Wikileaks, kicking in open doors since 2006.
  12. There's a console command: player.placeleveledactoratme 001349b6
  13. Pics or it didn't happen.
  14. NASA is wasting a lot of money when they could have just gone to the beach and look at them gravity waves.
  15. Hopefully the Witcher 2 will have a similar melee system. It works really well and is fun. After Risen and now this game, I won't stand for time-based clicking any longer (not to mention, I think Reality Pump has already thoroughly beaten both CD Projekt & BioWare in the bootie department). Some skills are overpowered though. A few points in Humbling blow and you can basically one-hit kill every humanoid enemy in the game.
  16. Melee combat in TW2 is cake. Just max out Defensive stance & Retribution and all you have to do is just block & counterattack to beat everything. I killed the cyclops without losing health. I also tried archery a bit in the beginning of the game but found it too annoying to be useful. Dying isn't even possible since you can always pause the game by opening the inventory and craft thousands of health & endurance potions.
  17. I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream.
  18. Quite a few FO3 sidequests had non-violent solutions, actually. IIRC only Reilly's Rangers and the Fire Ant quest was non-stop combat.
  19. I'm not completely sure, but it seems that it's the version made for release in Germany that's available, but you can switch to English and it has the English audio. Perhaps virumor could confirm this? You can get it here. Glad to hear it's good, though. It's true. I got the game via amazon.de
  20. My 2 INT character had 11 skill points each level-up (4 less than my current 6 INT with Educated) and maxed out her tagged skills by the end of the game. But still she was able to get repair/medicine/lockpick/science over 50. No lockpick mostly means missing out on some stimpaks, ammo and bottle caps. Plus a few unique weapons. No science means not having to bother with the hacking minigame, which is heaven. Medicine would be completely useless if some quests didn't use skill checks for it. Stimpaks are made redundant by Sunset sarsaparilla & food. Repair is even more useless in my experience, but for users of energy weapons with overcharge ammo it may be a different story.
  21. If they bothered to include finishing animations where you'd sever a limb or lop off a head, those amounts of blood would make sense. Action games like Dark Messiah & Blade of Darkness did it right. Still, the blood wasn't as silly as that slow-mo kill animation where a heavily armoured fighter would jump two metres into the air to stab a maul (yes, a maul) into an Ogre.
  22. I also didn't have a slide for the BoS in the end. Strangely enough, though, I did receive a slide for a group called "the Misfits" that I had never even encountered or heard of.
  23. That Alpha Protocal sale is a slap in the face for anyone who paid full-price less than six months ago.
  24. judging by the intro and the first two areas, it's crap. I think it's a very poor story, for a first chapter, that is. maybe it gets better. the game itself is beautiful, though. a very good engine. the only problem is character animation. the hero look like a cripple when running You haven't played the first game, have you? The beginning makes a lot more sense if you did. The entire prologue is great and beats pretty much every other action RPG out there.
  25. Aveline looks a lot like the female pirate archetype from Drakensang.
