Releasing it digitally a year ago might at least have kept the company afloat. Three months after the German release DTP already pulled the plug.
The Dragon Knight Saga hasn't been released physically in NA either, but as I understand has been quite succesful through Steam. As much as I dislike DD, at least it's helping independent developers to stay in business, while the publishers are generally contributing to the reverse.
Here's what the Larian CEO wrote on dealign with US publishers:
It's a disgrace for such a good game. Dtp is the worst publisher ever.
The same will probably happen with Venetica.
(btw, the English version is available in the entire Benelux, not only Luxemburg)
I liked the one in Denerim where pickpocketing an elfroot would trigger a random encounter where your party was surrounded by at least fifty guards after the five minute loading screen.
Fourth Era Tamriel map:
I like how the Argonians conquered a chunk of Morrowind. It also seems the Nords took their old lands back. So mayhap Skyrim will also feature locations outside the Third Era province.
Fourth Era lore introduced by "The Infernal City" novel (Third Era ends in 3E 433 with the ascension of Martin Septim):
The Ganth had a life-stealing axe, you just needed to get out of melee reach when it started glowing IIRC to prevent him from healing.
Most annoying enemy by far was the Garganturax.
I haven't read a King book released after the final Dark Tower book. I'm still waiting for a sequel to the Talisman/Black House (co-authored with Peter Straub).
How many playable races are there? I don't expect dryads or Elves since it's back in Ehb, but can we at least play a dwarf?
I can already see how 252423423 number of reviews claim this is a DAO rip-off. I hope they release info on the MCA project soon
More like a Sacred 2 ripoff.
