  1. I'll wait until I can pick it up for 2.5
  2. Interview with Swen Vincke of Larian Studios @RPGCodex
  3. Still playing Two Worlds 2. Apart from some rage-inducing mini-games that were clearly designed for a console controller (then again, maybe the devs are trying to make a point about playing the harp or flute), I'm really having a good time with it.
  4. Was Father Hawke a retired adventurer? Is there an explanation for why the Hawke kids are badass at the beginning of the game? In Fable, a game with similar beginnings, you get hauled off to a Hero's Academy in the beginning. Also, it seems the huge chin runs in the family.
  5. It looks even prettier than Two Worlds 2. Hopefully the gameplay will be up to par.
  6. Not really, considering how every major faction is practically begging the Courier to join them and solve all their problems, going so far as to forgive all past sins at one point. The Courier is the catalyst for the unraveling of events, without him/her the stalemate would be maintained.
  7. Caesar failed to impress me and convince me of the worth of Caesar's Legion, unlike Ashur in the Pitt. The conditions in the Pitt were perhaps even more brutal than the Legion, but Ashur's long-term plans were sound. He made me do a double-take and join him in the end. Actually, a NV DLC similar to the Pitt may pop up in the future, starring Elder Elijah.
  8. this is exactly how I like my games Are you sure you like any Obsidian games then?
  9. Wikileaks has finally confirmed that Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany (& probably Italy as well) have nuclear weapons stored.
  10. I don't remember that, but... sure. She has the exact same hawt body as Leliana, but doesn't pull weird faces. What's not to like?
  11. Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII.
  12. Arya pics, please. Kthxbye.
  13. She has a huge chin and FemShep neck. Not very flattering. Is she customizable?
  14. Hint: don't do the labyrinth sidequests. I wasted hours expecting some grand reward, and got almost nothing in the end.
  15. What was horrible about the swamp was that huge, kickass plant popping up on the most inopportune times. I couldn't kill on my first playthrough and had to run away constantly.
  16. It wouldn't fit a game like this anyway to run around like a pipsqueek in a stupid looking robe & wizard hat.
  17. Yeah, she even named her son Chris. Chris Avelline...
  18. I'm glad they removed permanent effect potions from the game. Melee becomes easy quickly. I took out several Dead knights at level 11, while in the first game this would have been pretty much impossible. Also, spiders are not a threat anymore since they have no longer have poison attack, which was very deadly in the first game. Not to mention, if you can take out a Cyclops without losing health, it's already pretty much guaranteed that the rest of the game won't be a challenge anymore. Still, I haven't had as much fun playing a melee character since Blade of Darkness. The exploration is a bit disappointing, though. The few accessible dungeons (most are locked because they're tied to sidequests) contain very little of worth, save a few locked chests containing level-scaled loot. The interiors are generally impressive, though.
  19. Wikileaks, kicking in open doors since 2006.
  20. There's a console command: player.placeleveledactoratme 001349b6
  21. Pics or it didn't happen.
  22. NASA is wasting a lot of money when they could have just gone to the beach and look at them gravity waves.
  23. Hopefully the Witcher 2 will have a similar melee system. It works really well and is fun. After Risen and now this game, I won't stand for time-based clicking any longer (not to mention, I think Reality Pump has already thoroughly beaten both CD Projekt & BioWare in the bootie department). Some skills are overpowered though. A few points in Humbling blow and you can basically one-hit kill every humanoid enemy in the game.
  24. Melee combat in TW2 is cake. Just max out Defensive stance & Retribution and all you have to do is just block & counterattack to beat everything. I killed the cyclops without losing health. I also tried archery a bit in the beginning of the game but found it too annoying to be useful. Dying isn't even possible since you can always pause the game by opening the inventory and craft thousands of health & endurance potions.
