I've been reading up on TES lore regarding thu'um. It seems Vivec had a inventive way of countering the almighty dragon shout.
Please Todd, implement this in the game.
Great review. Here's to waiting another ten years for a TDE classical RPG. At least there's still Demonicon and Satinavs Ketten coming out to somewhat lessen the pain.
It makes sense for Nords. Nords were immune to frost in Morrowind, and in Oblivion had 50% frost resistance IIRC.
The scaly and furry races shouldn't have much trouble either.
All I know is that she casts spells that a fallen Paladin should never be able to cast. Blade barrier, Harm, etc.
To add insult to injury, in HotU she then loses all those spells and returns to being a crappy paladin.
What do they mean with this? All it took to having a good relationship with party members was showering them with gifts, even if one acted contrary to their desires during quests.
NWN 2's & KOTOR 2's influence system had DA beaten.
The game does look pretty bad compared to Dungeon Siege and Warcraft III, which came out in the same year. That is, as long as one doesn't zoom in too much.
Drakensang: River of Time was best classical RPG of 2010, Divinity 2 best action RPG.
I enjoyed Two Worlds 2 as well, but it has a pretty lightweight story that totally descends into madness near the end.
EDIT: Venetica is a pretty interesting game as well.
