  1. I gave it a try, playing with Anjali. The camera is terrible and makes combat a cluster****. Whenever you dodge, the camera goes all over the place and you lose track of your enemies (a camera fixed behind the character would've helped a lot here). Movement and combat also feels off somehow, like everything is moving through syrup. Things don't feel fast-paced, it's just very sluggish overall. I also don't like the green and blue orbs, it makes me feel like I'm playing Fable. What happened to potions? Level design is also very bad in the demo, it's just following one long corridor. Is the entire game like this? Environments also feel barren and empty. UI feels very consolish. Overall, very disappointing... because I'm sure there's an interesting story hiding underneath it all. But after being spoiled by Divinity 2 & its expansion, which were both outstanding, I really can't bring myself to wade through this.
  2. Will Risen 2 be shown? Are there any independent developers at E3, even?
  3. The more Starks die, the better. Both in the show and the books.
  4. I'm at the edge of my seat.
  5. Only Nintendo could come up with **** like this and it'll probably sell like hotcakes again.
  6. I hope that Turian councillor can finally be headbutted if he still goes "lol Reapers?" (which he undoubtedly will, considering the popularity of that meme) after escaping from a Reaper-infested Earth.
  7. Moar like Final Fantasy: Armored Princess.
  8. So where's the RPG in there? Looks like they went full Gears of War 3.
  9. Regarding the random generation of dungeons, wasn't there something about the game keeping track of your progress & actions and taking those into account? The so-called "radiant story" and the radiant AI being linked to it, while radiant AI in Oblivion was purely scripted. Anyway, it's safe to assume the main story will still make heavy use of scripted events and set encounters.
  10. Uncharted 3 apparently features Helen Mirren as a villain. Oh, and Claudia Black is back. Pity the main protagonist is still a douche.
  11. Could be worse. At least there's no Kinect.
  12. Forgot to add: Ashley is the new Miranda.
  13. I suppose one simply will have to accept that Reapers can suddenly be blown up by the Normandy while in the first game Sovereign couldn't be stopped by an entire fleet?
  14. I can see the krogan are needed as stormtroopers if your Renegade Shepard wiped out both the rachni and the Geth. But otherwise, it'd be a bad idea to set them loose on the galaxy again.
  15. I'm thinking the more "dragon shouts" you garner, the more dragons you might encounter as you become more powerful or maybe the dragons being drawn to you since you suck up their souls. From that video, it seemed at least that using shouts was needed to defeat the dragons, this at least would make it more interesting that running around and tossing spells at them or just hacking away.
  16. So, no BG&E 2 then? There's no stealth, it's a pure action game. You're supposed to be an assassin, but you can just stroll into a group of Templars/hoplites/whatever and counter-attack all enemies that attack you one-by-one to death.
  17. Can I has Beyond Good & Evil 2, Ubisoft?
  18. Stealth is just deferred collar-grabbing for my Shepard.
  19. I'm going to go out on a limb and give credit to Bethesda for not being so dumb as to have dragons raining from the sky every time you turn a corner. And probably I will regret doing so. Weren't they supposed to only show up during main story events or something?
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9hJMxw126A
  21. Let's count how many times the word "epic" is thrown around.
  22. Fable Kinect? As if things couldn't get any worse with the franchise.
