I finished Alice: Madness Returns. According to the game, it took me a bit more than 16 hours. I like it better than the first game. Art direction and level design are fantastic (you won't find a more creative and beautiful game released this year), voice-over and story are as good as the first game. Tone & atmosphere isn't as dark as the first game (understandably, considering Alice mopped up Wonderland pretty thoroughly in the first game), only right before the end it becomes really dark, perhaps even shockingly so. The ending is ambiguous enough that it may warrant another sequel. Music is not as memorable as the first game from what I remember, although I really like the main theme (very Arcanum like). Combat is better, there aren't as many enemies and weapons as in the first game, but this time around you need some strategy to beat them. It can also be pretty challenging when facing groups of different enemy types (although when close to death, there is a limited win-button in the form of Hysteria, when Alice will go nuts for a short time, becoming invulnerable and doing massive damage). Overall, 8.5/10. The game also has PhysX and 3D Vision options, which I imagine make the game look even more impressive than it is, but I couldn't benefit from this due to my computer sucking balls.

Great that Divinity 2 is still doing that well.

Well, westerns have never interested me much, so I'd pass on the game regardless. It's probably an American thing.

No matter how BioWare tries to sell it, DA2 is a party based action RPG, as much as DS2 was. That's the big irony of it all.

Well, there's still crossbows & regular bows. Try hitting a mudcrab point-blank with 5 in Marksman. Thing is though, after proper character creating and proper training, it only takes a few levels and you'll never miss in combat again. Not to mention, there's no active blocking & special combo moves in the game, so one might as well keep everything as it is. E.g. a Redguard with Long blade as primary skill starts with 50. With strength & agility as primary attributes, you'll hardly ever miss in the beginning of the game. With Adrenaline Rush, you can even take on stuff way above your level.

Are you sure you're not interrupting your combo? Beating the first three guys in the game with one continuous combo sequence gets you over 20 easily.

Since OWB is supposed to take place in a high-tech environments where cutting-edge technology was researched, hopefully we'll see some environments from Mothership: Zeta re-used that actually looked high-tech. I'm really sick of seeing those generic "subway maintenance tunnels" from FO3 re-used over and over again.

Have fun searching for a blue and yellow key for 2 hours.

In DS2, though, it's never made explicit that the main hero is Azunai reborn. It's suggested by two antagonists only, who even might've been wrong or were trying to mislead the main hero. It's also never made clear whether Azunai really became a god, only that he was worshipped as a god along with other powerful heroes of the past.
