  1. TDE is the new DnD.
  2. In Witcher 1, Quen was used to set up an impenetrable shield during combat to drink potions. To be more exact: you should be able to quickly pop a potion when you spot enemies in the distance. In Witcher 2 you need to enter meditation mode.
  3. Any word on whether drinking potions in combat will be possible again? Witcher 2 has so many terrible design decisions.
  4. Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Complete pushover even for old fattie King and can't wear full plate correctly. Dan Vavra was right after all.
  5. Tim Curry as Richelieu was quite entertainingly scene-chewy, along with Rebecca De Mornay's Countess for pretty background.. He played the type of villain he always plays, along with the over-acting.
  6. Three Musketeers 1973 - just plain awesome. Three Musketeers 1993 - meh. But Gabrielle Anwar was very pretty as the Queen.
  7. Combat is clunky, but not nearly as bad as Witcher 2. Plus melee can be avoided entirely by specializing your character in guns and/or lightning magic.
  8. In pirate DLC you can get neverending XP and items without doing anything. Really cheesy way to max out for low-level characters.
  9. It's quite lovely as long as you're looking at strictly scenery and not any of the (unmodded) characters. Generic characters in Skyrim are less ugly than in Witcher 2, and they don't all look the same either (i.e. generic soldier, generic prostitute, generic Elf wench, generic Scoia'tael archer, etc).
  10. Just kill everyone. It's just self-defense and easy money. Besides Devotion likes tough guys.
  11. Like Gasaraki, overall good to great show, at the expense of LOLWTF ending.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sw1JtJ5M38 'MERICA
  13. Can Mira be corrupted to the darkside if a lightsided Jedi flip-flops after recruiting her?
  14. At this point I hardly even remember the plot, let alone the names of most characters.
  15. Tantric sex. Then my alarm rang.
  16. Most of the time difficulty comes down to bad starting position of your party (like putting mages in front). It would be very easy if you could choose formation yourself everytime.
  17. Yeah, two-handed weapons (especially blunt) are king. I critted an ogre for 80 damage and that was with a sword. With a greataxe you can crit over 100 easily.
  18. Main character is a poor but naturally gifted yokel who by circumstance starts to trek around, kicks everyone's ass wherever he goes and eventually gains the attention of the high nobility and becomes a knight. It's a copy paste of Flemish book "John the Fearless" which is set in 15th century Duchy of Burgundy. In the end, it's nothing but wish fulfillment and so far removed from reality that main character might as well be female.
