What you did today
@Woldan I did several mountains in Obergurgl once upon a time. You were probably still sucking on mommy's boob at the time, but they were definitely quite high.

What you did today
I'm doing some pre-travel admin. I shall be visiting the Land-of-Woldan en route to The Balkans then further afield. Hope to explore Montenegro at some point. As for men's fragrances - the smell of bourbon, rich mahogany and cigars is my natural musk, you pansies. #machobastard

What are you reading?
My Django Wexler book took a while to get into, but now I am I'm enjoying it. It's like reading the Sharpe books but with sorcery I suppose. I've just downloaded everything HP Lovecraft ever wrote for 79p on Kindle. Am going to have some spooky holiday reading next week...

Things to do in London on holiday
I think the Thames is a lot cleaner now. I walk along it every day and seldom see rats, although the Tube has plenty of rodents. We even get seals in The Thames nowadays.

Things to do in London on holiday
PJs is epic. Good spot. English breakfasts are easily found ten metres off the beaten track. I'd suggest The Regency off Horseferry Road for an epic Full English. It featured in the movie 'layer cake' and the lady who runs it shouts like a sergeant major.

What you did today
I am working. Final revision / polish of a piece I hope to have published in the next month or so. I'm about 2/3 of the way through (88000 words). It's version 1.8 I think. Now I'm going to have a cup of tea and stop wasting time here.

Weird News Stories part2
Regarding spiders. I live in England, a country with relatively few dangerous critters (save parking attendants, lawyers and politicians). So spiders here kill all the useless and annoying bugs in the garden. So I am a bit of a fan and never harm them, even the big, ugly ones.

Oooh. Do the V&A. I think it's immensely underrated, but for my money one of the best museums in London. They always have unusual stuff you never expected to see.

Armour & weapon designs (part V).
Just thought I'd share this. Only slightly O/T. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/world-war-one/11006139/Inventories-of-war-soldiers-kit-from-1066-to-2014.html
