Thought this episode was better than the last 2 or 3, though the last 2 or 3 ofc were also good. What's funny is, that while watching the new episode I was constantly like "I remember this", but couldn't pin it to anything definitive.. until the last chapter started and I finally remembered that boss fight.

Saying right wingers are free market people and nothing else made me really laugh right now, thanks for that. That said, I don't think it really matters what I write next, since I will open myself up for something somewhere, which will likely give you an easy gotcha, and I really can't be arsed to write a lawyer-esque secure reply right now (not that I ever can, this is the internet after all 😄 ). I mean, jeez, just look at the american right on Fox News and Co., and tell me that all those people want is a free market. Now to keep Gromnir chill: I'm just throwing that our as a captain obvious example, I know that every other western country also has active right wing nutjobs grifting on right now. /Edit: And with right wing nutjobs I don't mean people who love the free market (which by the way also doesn't work, but that's another story entirely).

Yeah, or you can use it to derail a discussion and undermine the point, which is that right wingers should all be fired into the sun. This reminds me of a few years ago, where someone I knew had to point out that nazis aren't alive anymore, the people today are neo-nazis. "It's not the same!" - yeah, right, you know pretty well what is being talked about.

We probably use different definitions of what nazis are. That said, this feels like arguing semantics. Does it make a difference if the right wingers are jew-hating nazis or rather hate some other minority? At the end of the day, they are all the same garbage that belongs into the trash.

Watched Free Guy. Surprisingly not that bad. The last few Ryan Reynolds movies I've watched were kinda boring, but this one kept me awake till the end.

I started watching Stargate SG-1 from s3 on again. It still holds up surprisingly well. Feels weird to not know anything about the episodes anymore but at the same time remembering everything again when I see it. Must be 10+ years now since I last saw the show.

To be honest, can't really say much about those two, but Bild is notoriously bad. German punk band Die Ärzte even wrote in a song about them some years ago, with the famous line: Angst, Hass, Titten und dem Wetterbericht! - fear, hate, boobs, and weather report. That's what the Bild is.

I thought it was a bit boring. That in itself wouldn't be so much a problem.. issue is just that we only have 2 episodes left now for everything else. 😕

German Bild is the same caliber as The Sun and such, so everything written there must be taken with a truckload of salt.

They were even less about a year ago. Those movements usually start small and then suddenly there is a problem. Same thing as with the regular right wingers who slow but steadily increase in numbers.

Happy(?) 1 year anniversary, or.. something? That chinese plan is kinda reasonable, can't argue against it, however we all know it's pretty much just fantasy. There are also points that you simply can't avoid - for example let's take point 10 "Stopping unilateral sanctions" and 11 "Keeping industrial and supply chains stable".. yeah, I agree, but if Russia attacks and will not back down, and keeps going against points 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11... then what else are we supposed to do? Bent over, saying, oh well, not much we can do here? Sanctions are probably the best way to force an end, since the alternative would be to send soldiers. Now *that* would be an escalation that really nobody wants.

The Last of Us is way too fast. They are skipping so much stuff, and there are only 3 episodes left. The show could easily do +3 more episodes.

You just have to take a peek at the wiki article to know that sometimes it can be good not to trust your government.

All I know is that the german Kaiser (same as the russian Tzar) is a derivation of Caesar, so for me the Kaesar seems pretty normal and intuitive.
