That reminds me, was the amazing spider man any good? It's the only movie I haven't seen and somehow I can't get motivated to try it. /Edit: Oh wow, they even made 2 movies of it.

Well he's like 80+ years old and apparently still has mommy issues, so.... I really dunno. Watched First Contact again last weekend, and man, it's so much better than the new garbage.

The animations look rough, but other than that it seems interesting. Not sure if I'm a fan of the third person camera, though. Also shame it's no *actual* gameplay outside of a little dialog.

I don't think it would have been fine. Might have just taken longer for russia to get into it, or they would have invaded anyways if their political shenanigan obviously failed.

I finally dominated Starscourge Radahn, my currently No1 worst bossfight in all of Elden Ring. Cheesed him, because I couldn't be arsed anymore. Punched some levels into Arcane, equipped my arcane-boosting ring, and then used the Dragon Breath whatever spell. Summon the party members, let them melee the boss, use dragon breath to give him rot, then run away and wait for phase 2. Dodge the stupid meteor, try to get close to him without getting hit, use dragon breath again, then run away as far as possible and wait. Even with this it took me 4 attempts, because his stupid attacks are such insta-killing bullcrap.

Generic person here in germany doesn't even know about this stuff. Saying "yes, cut it off!" is easy -- but it comes from people who don't even know how much we import from russia. Also I still find it funny how planned this crap was. Russia delivered less gas over the past couple months, because "issues", and once the ukraine invasion started, magically the german gas reserves were low ... They deliberately tried to take us hostage via gas deliveries. Our state failed with diversification. Not that this is news... People were talking about that already for years, but I guess our gov simply didn't thought it would ever get into a situation like this now. In hindsight, quite naive.

Wasn't stuff like this always in their games? Kinda want to replay Gothic 1 again. Still the best one they made, imo.

Nah, shooters and tactical / strategy games are the only ones I'm still playing with M&K. But if a game was primarily made with gamepad in mind, then I usually take that.

Did I say that? I never played any of the ME games with gamepad. I wanted to at some point (so I can play them from the couch on my big ass tv), but if I remember right, the PC port flat out didn't have gamepad support, so it wasn't working.

The GameCube controller is probably the worst piece of hardware I ever had in my hands.

I like this touch pad on the ps4/5 pads. Shame that the xbox doesn't have that. Would be at least 2 to 3 more buttons that can be pressed. I'm level 84something now in Elden Ring. Funny enough, the last 15 levels were extremely fast to get to. Can't have taken longer than 3 or 4 hours. My big sword is also upgraded to +19 now and generally I'm having a much easier time with most stuff now. Ticket off some of the minor dungeons that I've skipped before and it's funny how easily I'm breathing through almost all of them now. Made it to the Royal Capital and here the difficulty is spiking again. I'm still killing reasonably fast, but almost every enemy can take me down in two hits. Also the stupid hands are back, and they are sucking all motivation right out of me. Often I find myself just teleporting back to the starting area, to reminiscence the humble beginnings.

To be honest, I pretty much play everything with gamepad nowadays unless it is a first person shooter or some strategy / tactical game. On PC I'm using a simple Xbox 360 gamepad. Bought it years ago for ... I actually can't even remember the game. Actually I think it was when I connected my TV with an HDMI cable and for the first time started playing games from the couch ... it really is a whole different experience. Maybe I should upgrade to one of the new Xbox gamepads. Then again, from the looks of it there doesn't seem to be a huge difference.

Hope you tried it with a gamepad. People who play Dark Souls with mouse and keyboard deserve all the suffering.

Finally made it past the grant lift .. with going around it. Suffered myself through Mt. Gelmir and what is probably the worst dungeon in the whole game. Now I have the sick Bloodhound Knight Set. Funny enough, I found 4 (or 5) full armor sets in the 3 hours up there. Looks like only the "beginning areas" don't have any clothes you can find in the wild ... it's all in the north.

Starscourge Radahn is probably the most unfun boss in the game so far. Extremely random, long, tedious, lazy, makes me want to uninstall the game.
