  1. I don't like it as well. Especially because it's more a "Fallout 3 Fan Movie" than a "Fallout Fan Movie"
  2. It beeing an announcement date seems to be more likely than a real release date, imo. I mean... I wouldn't have anything against it, if Honest Hearts really gets released next week and I would buy it right in the same minute. But it just feels very unlikely to me, as it's only a few days left and Bethesda didn't talked about anything yet. That's really un-bethesdaesque.
  3. Maybe he is just helping but not really moving?
  4. So, who agrees on the PC Gamer review? 94%, PC Gamer.
  5. Wonder if that is connected to FNV DLCs.
  6. True. FNV will update the game in any case. With Fallout 3 it was different though (due to MSwhatever).
  7. I don't think they do (on pc), but in any case it would be better to patch the game. Hope we get some information on DLC #2 soon. After Dead Money, I am tensed again.
  8. Even though these dance videos are getting old pretty fast, it's still kind of hypnotical. :> Plus, it makes me wish I could dance like that. /stiffman
  9. Feels to me as if something is missing in that post. At least some more details.
  10. It's not a bug, it's build with time lord technology.
  11. Mods are helping Oblivion, Fallout 3 'n stuff a lot. It keep the community busy and the game in the news. So it really would be a strange thing if Bethesda would not release some modding kit. Though, even if some folks don't release modkits, in many cases - and if the game is popular enough - people figure out some ways to edit stuff. That's pretty cool. Remember Stalker that was a bitch to mod before... now people are creating new maps and quests and stories and what not. Same goes for other games too.
  12. For me, Fallout always has been kind of a sci-fi western.
  13. This. If it would be me, someone should place a black hole generator at the east coast to remove it completely from the (game)earth.
  14. I personally would just want to have all red-ish legion colored areas to be like the rest of the game world. Even though I understand that this color change shall express the high amount of danger on the borders, it just doesn't feel right to me. Same with the foggy stuff in Camp Searchlight.
  15. Crashed for me once short before I've entered the casino / villa. But beside this, the game seems to be running more stable now for me. No VATS crash in the main game, no other crash. This makes me happy. Though it might be also just pure luck and maybe right after I wrote that now, the game will crash and kill my system. Who knows, without a patch changelog.
  16. I just realized something more or less funny. With my new character I just fixed Helios One once again and while I was checking out the surroundings for stuff I might have overlooked in my past playthroughs, I saw the power generators and the power poles... which alle have been broken. This was the moment where I realized that there is not a single 100% working powerline in the whole area, because most of the power poles are somehow damaged. Helios One is now generating power for nothing, same with Hoover Dam. I know, I know, this is super nitpickery. :> Just wanted to say it.
  17. In theory you don't have to fight a lot in Dead Money. Most of the enemies can be ignored / you can run around them. It might be not as easy on the first playthrough, though.
  18. Heh I was searching it too. If you right click on the game in the library, you can see your DLC content. To install it, just try to run the game, then the update should start. Needed a few minutes until I figured it out...
  19. I paid 9,99 euro and I think it's worth it. In total, my playthrough was about 6 hours when I saw the end slideshow. Hell, I even finished the latest CoD faster. :>
  20. As long as the Hoover Dam battle hasn't started yet, you can use the character. You should not play Dead Money with a level 1 character. Not going to say it will be impossible, but you for sure will have a very hard time. (When you try to enter the Sierra Madre, a popup tells you that it's made for level 20+)
  21. The running to the building was only annoying to me, because most of the time, I was running in a circle... it was too dark and contorted to see the right way. The radio puzzles, I found more or less easy. There have been times where I needed to look out for them more, but in general I could avoid / trick them easy.
  22. Finished it. Overall it was pretty good. I liked the characters and even started to hate some, after I've heard the full story about everything. The foreshadowing stuff was great too. For the whole thing, I needed approx 6 hours, so I'll guess one can say the 10 euro have been ok. It was't as difficult as I thought it will be. Seriously, after all the whining I expected a lot... Didn't even had to reload all the time, just close to the end a few tries have been needed. But even this wasn't that worse. Bugs, I found none. Or let's say, I didn't saw any. Comparing Dead Money to the Fallout 3 DLCs, I personally find them hilariously bad. The writing, the stories, etc... in my opinion they can't hold up with Dead Money. Though, I never finished any Fallout 3 DLC except Operation: Anchorage, because they always has been something that annoyed me a lot or it was just god damn boring to play. Maybe I am biased... /Edit: Also updated my no-dialog-tags mod with a Dead Money file.
  23. Played some more hours. New status report: Difficult level is getting a bit higher, though it's not super total high yet. Radios are more or less easy to find. Even if not, I don't die and have to do ****load of save&loads like everyone wrote in their reviews. I am running a bit low on ammo in the moment, but it's still not a big deal. /Edit: About Christine. I really like her and think she is the best of the three companions. Though, her subtitle-like dialogue is kind of annoying to me, because of two reasons: 1. The text is too fast. I have to jump over the lines, before the next line pops up, which is really annoying. Especially because english is obviously not my main language, so I need a little bit longer to fully understand everything. 2. The dialog is telling me what she does, but the visual does not. I know why this is how it is and I know it would have been lots of work to create new animations, etc. so I can understand how it was dealed with. Still, I needed some time to get into this, because it for sure was distracting for me first. I mean... in a Fallout game like the ones we know from history books, this wouldn't have been a problem. But in this "oh, first person perspective is soooo immersive! We can't do any other rpgs anymore, because first person perspective is... sooooo immersive and back in the days the devs just have been limited!"-time it feels wrong to me.
