  1. Blah. Postal dude was here today, but I wasn't. Now I can go to the postal office tomorrow... Just because of the damn postident from Amazon.
  2. Lexx replied to Tale's topic in Way Off-Topic
I just can't believe that not a single german news site is reporting about that the whole thing might be faked.
  3. Patrolling the mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter for sure could get some additional lines. I'd pay 5 bucks for it, too.
  4. Hong Kong in DX1 was great too. Best area in the whole game. :>
  5. So, some weapons can be bought from traders, but what about the rest then? Will they be hidden in the gameworld, like the unique weapons that are in the game already, or will NPCs walk around with them? /Edit: Btw. I find it interesting, that GRA costs 40% of the previous DLCs. I would have thought it's even less expensive, because you have no new written text, no new NPCs with voices, no new big scripts, no new world space, etc. I can't really imagine that. Are the new models and textures so expensive?
  6. I am reading about weapon mod quality all the time, not only here but in other fora too. But it seems like people are forgotting one thing: The DLCs are released on console as well, so you have to take care of the resources you are using. A modder doesn't care about that, he can make textures and high poly models as much as he want to, it probably will run on the pc for most people. On the console, on the other hand, big texture packs and stuff can slow down the whole shizzle, make the loading times longer, etc. and you can't upgrade the hardware. Not saying that a single weapon will result in this, but if everything has too much high resolution stuff, it's going down the ****ter. Remember, Hoover Dam, New Vegas Strip, etc. was splittet up as well, simply because of the performance.
  7. Heh, that was already in the beta. It ended up with me running diagonal nearly all of the time, because you have been faster than sprinting.
  8. Well, okay. I will never find out anyway, as I will not buy this DLC. Lonesome Road and Gun Runners' Arsenal will be the only ones. :>
  9. But you have 4 different armors. Use one, sell the other or sell everything right from the beginning. In any case it makes the beginning easier.
  10. What do you mean with "since they don't exactly stack?" As far as I know, you can use pre-order packs together and when you start the game the next time, you'll get the items into your inventory. Yes, they aren't useful late game, but they are more than a tiny boost in early game.
  11. Courier's Stash really seems to be highly game breaking. You start the game and get bombed with 4 equipment sets, urg.
  12. I am not surprised about the Bozar. Somehow everyone screamed about it and it's easy to implement (animations exist already). What is much more important: Will there finally be a City-Killer Combat Shotgun? :>
  13. Woot, another DLC. <3
  14. I should buy me some Dungeon Keeper 2.
  15. You can even hack it, let it attack your enemies and carry it around while it kills stuff. :>
  16. I don't understand the sense behind this.
  17. I liked the demo. Thinking about buying the game now. Probably not on release though, but with the first steam special sale, which shouldn't take too long to come.
  18. They probably are exactly the same. But you can see that their face details are different. I am pretty sure that you still can morph the face, like in Oblivion and the later Fallout games. Now I just wonder if the rest of the game will improve as much as the characters faces did.
  19. I'll guess the game is pretty short if you run through it and don't take your time with exploring. I really hope it will not be 15 hours for me. That would be disappointing.
  20. Afaik, the Steam stuff is optional. You don't have to do that. /Edit: It's even written on the page. "Participation in the survey is optional,"
  21. Lexx replied to Walsingham's topic in Way Off-Topic
But every german news site reports with "live ticker" 'n stuff that the rebels are very close with taking Tripoli.
  22. Lexx replied to Walsingham's topic in Way Off-Topic
So did they or did they not captured Tripoli? And if not, why would they claim that they have? To break resistance in other locations?
  23. Is it already playable outside of the EU?
  24. I just hope this week will be done fast, because I totally want to play DX3 now. Good thing is, monday is over soon (in germany)... only 4 days left.
