  1. Not that I know of any. But I don't have any local shop, so I have to order it from the interwebz now, if I want to have it here on release.
  2. I didn't really liked DoW2 anymore. I mean, it was fun for a while, but the campaign got repitative very very fast.
  3. whilst i agree to a degree about steam prices, i cant agree with the price of this game on steam. you get 2 free games with it. whether you have them already or not is irrelevant, you dont get 2 free games with the retail purchase. however that point becomes moot after release because they wont be included then.... only then will i agree with you. not before. My post was not only about DA3, but nearly all Steam game releases. Most simply aren't worth the money, because you can get them somewhere else less expensive.
  4. No. If I remember correct, there only have been three different armor sprites, which kind of marked the armor tier.
  5. But if you buy it from Steam, you pay more in most cases. My personal agenda is to not buy any new / soon to be released games from Steam, which are cheaper in other stores, because I think Steam prices are insulting. You pay more money and don't even get a box or a printed manual (heck, not even a printed cd inlay, nor the cd). In fact, if you live in an area where you can buy a game today at shops like Amazon and have them in your hands already the next day, there is no damn reason to buy it directly from Steam and even pay more for it.
  6. Just wanted to throw into some random thread that I've preordered the game now. After reading various reviews and additionally liking the demo, I thought... why not.
  7. I'd buy it, if you can have a romance with boobs.
  8. But what if you are all out of bubblegum.
  9. A DNF rpg would be taken up at least as bad. Especially a DNF rpg by Obsidian. Duke Nukem just isn't an rpg franchise.
  10. I still remember that a little bit, was a pretty filthy move. Afair they wanted to lure him to america with a job offer, but the german police got inbetween and took him out before he was sitting in the plane.
  11. I bet Lonesome Road will be as linear as Dead Money. What we know about it so far really doesn't sound like open world.
  12. Don't worry, I bet a lot people will backfire at him.
  13. So, the half of the month has passed and it's walking slowly close to end and no further OWB news yet. I really start to question it's release in this month.
  14. Playing my Fallout 2 mod again lately, while working on it. Doesn't have any subtitle to Fallout 2 yet, because I really suck with thinking about a fitting subtitle. But beside this, I really wish progress would be faster, but oh well... Slow but steady. Finalizing the first location right now, which is a big milestone. Maybe I should call it Fallout 2: Utah, but that would kind of miss the games theme. Besides, it's not fully set in Utah anyway.
  15. Watched the first 45 minutes on YouTube and it looked really boring. Does it get any better?
  16. That's getting really annoying by now.
  17. I haven't played a game with totally sucky combat since years. Sorry, but it's just like that. I am very fine with how the combat mechanism works in W2, I am fine with it in DS3 (hell, even with the controls after I got used to it), yadda-yadda. The hell, I even finished Metal Gear Solid 2 on computer with mouse and keyboard, which was a pain, but I even though it was ****, I never really complained after I've got used with it.
  18. I really don't get why everyone is whining about the combat mechanism all the time. I can't remember any more or less new game (except shooters) where people didn't complained about sucky combat. Maybe devs should cut out combat totally if it sucks anyway. Then we can have Geralt: The monster talker.
  19. Also - as seen in some YouTube videos - DX3 has all turf in one big map, not like AP where you have a talking map, a real action map, then your headquarter map, then again some talking map, followed by the action map....
  20. What I want to know is how it took 14 years to squeeze it out. It should have one of the longest and most impressive campaigns of all time. I recall it being said that it was a problem of constantly wanting to add stuff every time another new game came out. But I've not heard of anything from the final product that reflects that, such as portal guns and gravity panels. Well, that was years ago. By the time Portal came out, that was pretty much not done anymore.
  21. It is scripted. They have their place to go after the dialog with the pc ends and then they die.
  22. I don't think you can compare AP with DX anyway, as both are pretty different from gameplay alone already.
  23. It was said to be no.
  24. Metacritic gets a lot of flak for being the major review aggregator, and they certainly took a lot of stupid choices in the past, but I very much doubt they're bribing the publishers to be referenced in contracts (and be sure, as the situation is, if the Metacritic was shut down they'd use another aggregator) nor it's their faults that the gaming journalism is as it is. Well, they pretty much support this with their crappy nonsensical system. What worth is it to know the average rating of a game if the used reviews are bullshizzle anyway.
  25. Metacritics should be shut down. I hate that crapfest of subjectivity.
