  1. Oh noez, Prosper found this board. Yes, that fits perfectly the "random video game news"-thread.
  2. That is very, very cruel.
  3. Uh no, never will start a Let's play... thread, too much work, too much dedication needed. :>
  4. Wasn't that stuff shown already? Or at least something similar, because the second part looks very familiar to me. Can't believe it's still 1 1/2 months till release. Meh.
  5. Finished Singularity again yesterday. Now I can concentrate on Amnesia. :>
  6. Ah, sorry. I was somehow confusing that.
  7. That sounds a bit harsh. That ammo has weight has some influence on the game, but the influence really is not that heavy, as long as you don't go for rockets and rifle grenades, etc. You do not have to walk to merchants all the time, you do not need to go back to your house all the time and get more ammo or switch the weapon, etc. Of course I can only speak for myself, but with around 100 of ammo for a weapon (if it's not a minigun), I can hold out pretty long and if you don't carry every possible weapon and armor with you, there is more than enough room for even more ammo. Especially guns like the Cowboy Repeater, Trail Carbine, Pistols, etc. do not need massive ammounts of ammunition and even if you run out of your favourite ammo, there is plenty of alternative stuff in the gameworld that can keep you running. If you really need more supplies, normally a merchant is close to every quest hub, which can be reached even faster with fast traveling. :> You just have to clean up your inventory every once in a while and that should be all. Ask yourself if you really have to carry every weapon with you and if you really need a type of each armor and if you really need 2000 leads in your pocket and so on and so on. If you strike out everything you only need every once in a while or just reduce it by half, there should never be a problem with your carry weight in "hardcore"-mode. Of course, if you have only a STR of less than 4, it will become a problem.
  8. And I thought I will not read any bull**** today. /Edit: Except the last point, which was a nice twist. /Edit?: The last point of the score-part. /Edit?: I don't find the article funny, but after approx half of the text I think I realized that this isn't serious. :>
  9. The ammo weight never really hindered me in anything. It's just not possible to carry lots of rockets 'n stuff, but that's all.
  10. INTERVIEW: Christoph Hartmann, 2K Games Bah? Bah.
  11. That's pretty cool.
  12. But DX:HR isn't even out yet. :>
  13. As the OWB release date is pretty badly placed for me, I probably will need around a week again to finish it, just like with Honest Hearts. Though, I am still much more tensed to see how Lonesome Road will turn out, because I personally can't think of any way to make a long, lonesome road to look fun and with around 7 to 8 hours of gameplay.
  14. Still some Singularity again as long as it's daylight outside. When it get's dark (which is soon), I switch to Amnesia again.
  15. Depends a lot on the game. If I can see my character all the time and dialogue is voiced, I'd like to have my character a voice too. If I don't see my character all the time or if text is not voiced in general, I don't mind.
  16. Played a little bit Amnesia right now. I am still right at the beginning, but it seems... interesting. Reminds me a little bit of Lovecraft, though that also could be, because I've read a few Lovecraft stories in the past week.
  17. Hah, Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum is on sale. Will buy it, only because of MotB.
  18. Well, experience with currently widely used engines is never bad. But I don't see this as a very important thing as well. Just "toying around" is doubtful to give any job, yes. But if you have created a portfolio that is worth to look at, things might change, because it shows that you can do something and not "that you have toyed around" a little bit.
  19. Bought Amnesia. I doubt I will be able to play it anytime soon, but hey... 4 Euro. Lucky though, a few days ago I thougt about buying it. Good that I haven't done it.
  20. That would be very cliche. It will probably happen.
  21. Imagine this story change: The reapers are not here to destroy everything organic, in truth they are heroes and want to defend them from something *else* that is the true evil and hides among the organic, but the reapers are misunerstood by everyone and attacked. :/ Luckily Shepard finds out about this and they settle a peace contract and fight the true evil to death all together. They find out that the reapers are some really cool dudes. The End. (With a light cliff-hanger towards a new ME trilogy.)
  22. Nothing new in there for me. I've got Risen already since the release and the rest isn't worth my money.
  23. Can't remember I've wrote anything against that.
  24. Yeah wow that tells me a lot. Beside, I've read that. Still don't know what this game is, except being in sci-fi and that you will for sure kill lots of bad dudes.
  25. Cthulhu, dark corners of the earth was the only really cool thing, despite the flaws the game has. :> I don't even know what "Dishonored" is except it might be some sci-fi **** and you kill lotta baddies.
