  1. For an indie game? DS looks p.cool to me. Love the look, just hope that the controls will not be clunky.
  2. The re-makes of the originals DO HAVE the original game graphics and interface that you can switch too, in case you didn't know. The only thing they do not have is MIDI support for my Roland MT-32, which makes me very angry.... I know. But what worth is it if I have the original controls and such in the *old* version but want to play the *new* version? If I remember correct - as example - it is not possible to skip various scenes in the remake that you could skip in the original game, this including dialogue lines and whatnot. I don't mind the not always visible inventory, but even the mouse behaviour was changed, which isn't even much more intuitive, imo. It's just different and with less graphics. /Edit: I seriously wouldn't buy FarCry 2. It's a cool looking game, but the actual gameplay is so bland and boring... it's still killing me.
  3. Have to say I like the original Monkey Island games more than the remakes. :> The remakes are cool looking 'n stuff, but it's not the same anymore for me. Okay, one problem could be the ****ty controls they've added... instead of taking it 1:1 from the originals, it seems like they had to reinvent the wheel...

  7. Some really sweet weapons from what I've seen. Continuing the (new) Wolfenstein trend of really decent games that no one really cares about Was the new Wolfenstein any good? I never bothered with it, because on the screens it looked meh.
  8. The cowboy perk (the only reason why I drop 45 skill points to melee combat) Jury Rigger (less stress with repairing... I am working towards that perk from the very start of the game) and Hand Loader, because of the fancy new ammo type.
  9. Bought Singularity as well. Very good game, played through it already a few times.

  11. Yesterday I noticed that my ArmA2 folder is 32gb big. The biggest game I have installed (with mods, new islands, etc). With that british army and soldner dlc, that I (probably) will get tomorrow, it should even become at least 2gb bigger.
  12. Well, it got boosted by Fallout 3.
  13. Playing some ArmA2: Operation Arrowhead again. Also bought the Reinforcements pack (the two DLCs) yesterday, hope they arrive soon.
  14. The codex changed a lot over the past years. Sometimes I wish it would be still like 5 years ago. Nowadays it feels to me more like some 4chan-light forum.
  15. DS3 doesn't have enough drops, it's obviously unfinished. Can't you see it?
  16. Would have been a ****ty shooter, most likely. So I'd say we can be glad about it.

  20. Thought about buying it for some future mods, but then I thought 7 euro is too expensive for only that.
  21. I've used mods that added a sleeping bag, so I could skip nights. In other cases I've searched for some place to wait until the night is over-- this I have done in all Stalker games, because I just hate it to run through the night. The developer who had fun with running around in the night all the time should be punished with black screens of death.

  23. There are so many sales and special sales and special special sales, that I begin to not buy Steam games anymore that aren't in some kind of special special special sale. :>
  24. Now I am really curious what that game will be. If people will be "very excited" about it, it must be something we know already. Probably something old that hasn't been touched since a while?
  25. Unreal got key cards and switches every once in a while, but beside it was pretty linear as well.
