  1. Making up? Do you read this forum and what people say on the other forums? My 15- 20 friends and a LOT of people say exactly the same thing, even in this forum. And have you played Diablo 2, Torchlight and Ds 2? Just open the Torchlight for example, start the game and start playing, just hit a couple of monsters and then compare this feel to DS3 you will clearly see. I just wrote the wrong thing about it. "I can't even see my items in details in my inventory screen or on my character so that makes me want to stop collecting any loot so kills the fun factor." Laziness? I say I can`t see anything when I go to corners because the camera does %100 zoom I say I CAN'T see anything but my character s butt while I`m fighting. I tried a lot of dofferent armor I just can't see any difference other then just a little bit color. I see the difference clearly in DS 1 and DS 2 but NOT Ds3 Why? That proves the problem is not me or my eyes. Even what you say is true, is it enough for that kind of game to have only a couple of different looks on character? If you can`t see the difference you really didn`t play Diablo enough. You can`t compare item variety in Diablo 2 to DS 3. That`s so funny try battle.net servers then. I and a lot of my friends still play Diablo 2 like thousands of people in the world.
  2. Wrong... The reality is Dungeon Siege 3 is far far worse than Torchlight, Diablo 2 and Titan Quest in every way. (well, let`s say "except graphics") You can`t even compare this game to Diablo or Torchlight. Here is some reasons: 1) I just don't feel I'm hitting the enemies, it just feels like as if I'm just hitting the air and that kills the fun factor completely for me. That's why I'm bored while playing. Why I`m not bored when playing Diablo, Torchlight but only Ds 3... That`s probably the reason. The best feel of hitting is in Diablo series and Torchlight I think. 2) I hated the inventory screen, If the developers used just paperdoll inventory screen like in Ds1 and 2, it would be much much better for me. I can't even see my items in details in my inventory screen or on my character so that makes me want to stop collecting any loot so kills the fun factor. 3) I just hated the controls and the camera, couldn't focus on the game while camera automatically zooms in and out! 4) I use Helmet but I can't see it on my character! That's really ridiculous in a 2011 game! Actually I can`t really see anything new on my character that also kills the fun factor 5) Numbers of skills seem so limited compared to Dungeon Siege 2. YEah, Loot and skill is really THAT shallow compared to other Diablo type games come on! I can't even see Helmet on my character! and you cant compare the (absence of) item variety of Ds3 to Diablo. And let`s not forget about replayability. Diablo is replayability king, that`s why people are still playing it after 11 years, How about Ds3? There is virtually no replayability in Ds 3. So just a couple of combos and blocking does not make a game comparable to Diablo in terms of quality and gameplay.
  3. Then why I just don`t realize it, don't see it? I see item differences on my character clearly even in 11 years old game Diablo 2 and DS 1 and 2 too but not in Ds3, so something must be wrong here other than me and my eyes
  4. The only nice parts of this game are shadow and light effects, mystical game world and that's it. Feel of impact, controls, the camera, items, inventory screen, gameplay and (absence of) details are just horrible.
  5. And not just helmets, I can`t see anything different on my characters! This game looks like as if it's made in 5-6 months.
  6. Warriors have no helmets in this game! that`s ridiculous besides you just can't see the Helmets on your character! Even Diablo 1 had more item details on the characters. I had high expectations for this game what a disappointment... I would say just skip this game and wait for Diablo 3.
  7. I remember Dungeon Siege 2 had a nice feel of impact, much much better than this game. This factor is so important for an Hack n slash game that I just can't believe why the developers skip the most important part. Anyway I just thank to Obsidian for releasing a Pc demo, if I didn't play the demo, I would definitely get this game and waste my 50$ then get upset and brake the dvd. With those controls and feel of the game, I wouldn't even give 20$ for this game.
  8. I just finished playing the demo today. For me, this game is a huge disappointment and I won't buy it. (I was seriously considering to buy the game before the demo) The biggest problems are: 1) I just don't feel I'm hitting the enemies, it just feels like as if I'm just hitting the air and that kills the fun factor for me. That's why I'm bored while playing. The best feel of hitting is in Diablo series and Torchlight I think. 2) I hated the inventory screen, If the developers used just paperdoll inventory screen like in Ds1 and 2, it would be much much better for me. 3) While I liked the shadow and light effects and the mystical game world, the textures are below average, for example, the rocks look worse than 2006 game Titan Quest. 4) I just hated the controls and the camera, couldn't focus on the game while camera automatically zooms in and out! 5) I use Helmet but I can't see it on my character! That's really ridiculous in a 2011 game! 6) Numbers of skills seem so limited compared to Dungeon Siege 2. Well, I wish Gas powered games made the Dungeon Siege 3 instead of Obsidian. It was just one of the 2 games I have been seriously waiting...

  10. "where is the paper doll for the equipment screen? Would have been nice to have one to see armor changes on the character right there in the inventory" I agree. Ds 1 has it; Ds2 has it Diablo has it, %99 of hack n slash games have it then just why did the developers remove it? I really can't understand that. It`s so crticial\important feature for that kind of games I think, if there is no paperdoll for pc version I wont buy the game.
  11. Yes, It's just like what we see when we press I (inventory) button in Diablo 2 or Dungeons Siege 2.
  12. Is there a paperdoll inventory screen in Ds3 (for pc) like Dungeon Siege 1 and 2? This feature is so critical to me, if the new dungeon siege doesn`t have it I won`t buy this game. I hate classical Rpg style "equipment" screens, you cannot see the whole item with this screen and this makes me doesn't want to get new loot...
