The Colour out of Space is my favorite. I like to read it again every once in a while.

Finished MGS3 yesterday. I think I'll rate it now higher than MGS2, but MGS1 is still better. Also it felt quite short. Ordered MGS4 yesterday. Should arrive in the next days.

Not really. Some decisions are forced on by the publisher. Like that fugly skill based aiming circle in AP. So it is not everything on Obsidian. Mind you, I am also not speaking them free of all mistakes. Just in case that comes up now...

I never liked the sound of this marcarena song, so I am all open for gangnam style.

I like that space cowboy in the elevator.

Just finished MGS: Peace Walker. Not bad for a game made for a handheld device. Now I'll probably continue with MGS3 or I finish Red Read Redemption first... not sure yet.

She is hawt, what was the topic about again

It is ok-ish. Not a bad game for what it is. You just have to ignore that it's titled "Jagged Alliance" and it is very playable. Especially with the latest patches.

Played some more MGS: Peace Walker. I like it quite a lot. Fun game, despite of being quite simple gameplay mechanic-wise (well, it was made for the PSP, after all...). So far I find the game a lot more entertaining than MGS3 (which I also started a few days ago and played for 3 or so hours). Though, it is strange that I am knocking out enemies and capture them with the fulton system, and next up they are on my mother base, working for me happily. But other than that... so far it is very entertaining.

Yes, it is a fat version. Didn't thought the difference would be that... big. And yeah, didn't wanted to spend too much money on it. RDR isn't the only game I want to play on it, but it was the main reason for me to buy a ps3 right now. I've also bought the HD collection of MGS2, MGS3 and Peace Walker. On a different note, I really like that wireless controller thingy. I mean, I am really bad in using a controller, but being able to walk through the whole room and still being able to play the game is... interesting. I can sit on the couch and play or I can walk to my desk and play from there. Not bad. Feels totally different than my old GameCube with cables and all that fuzz. Heh, I am always trying to hold the controller in a way so I won't pull the cables too much, until I notice that there isn't any cable at all.

If I look at the ps3 in my room now, it kind of is a "living room pc" already. This thing is so huge, I don't even know where to stash it if I don't use it. Other than that, I like the idea from Valve. If I understand it correct, it is still just normal pc shait, but displayed on a tv. That would mean we will get an increase in pc games again or at least pc ports / better pc ports.

It is 50:50 now.

One of those games eh? Can you run up to them and talk to them first, or does that have the opposite issue of running up to say hi and they shoot you dead? So far I was just running through the area when I suddenly heard some "Hey! Help me!" or something, then I try to rotate my horse and stuff is shooting, so I am shooting too, and then all are dead. /Edit: Yeah, like Calax wrote. :>

Started playing Red Dead Redemption. So far it is not bad, but I am having huge problems with figuring out who is friend and who is not. I'll see some dudes fighting, I run up to them, shoot and then there is -50 reputation. Oh well. Also that PS3 thingy is damn huge. I always thought consoles are small and handy, but this thing is like a house. A little bit bigger and one could live inside of it. Seriously, with that size, a normal pc doesn't seem that unreasonable anymore- also while looking at the prices of a recent console. PC master race just can't be conquered with that.

This is too good to be true.

There wasn't really any new game that totally hooked me up this year. From recent months, I liked Legend of Grimrock, FTL and Hotline Miami and I think these three are the new titles which I enjoyed the most this year. Other than that, I still mainly played New Vegas, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and some other such stuff from the years before.

What are you playing now - the plays the thing

Started playing some Assassins Creed 3. Got around 2 hours done and I think I am still in the intro... have to say, I find the game really boring. So far everything is only cutscene, walk to x, cutscene, walk to x, cutscene,... ehw. -

I still like it a lot and I just replayed it a few weeks ago. -
I would try the game. I am just not sure if it could keep me motivated over a longer time.

Since a while already. I am in the beta since founders packs were available and I have to say, I get more and more angry with every patch. They delay everything all the time (which wouldn't be so much a problem) and when the next patch is released, they nearly fixed nothing from the old bugs. Since 2 months already the game performance gets worse and worse and they still didn't fix the memory bug that a lot people are experiencing. I don't want to restart my client after every 3rd game, especially when playing in a real group, etc. It just annoys the hell and fun out of me.

I didn't liked most of Nehrim's quests. They were poorly done or stupid / the pacing was bad. The game world was good looking, though. But just the graphics didn't really saved the game for me. As a mod, it is quite good, though. -
I remember how I was hiding behind walls in Hitman 2, shooting everything that walks around. :>
