I liked the level design in the first two Dark Forces games, ah the fuel station in JK. Only tried a few of the big name AAA shooters, crappy level design in terms of paths at least. Dumb question though, how can a game be linear but not on rails ?

Always hear they should unionize developers, but with outsourcing and a lot of supply out there, never seems to come about. Granted it's always idle rattling on /. for the most part. I've yet to work for a truly sweatshop company (well ok thinking I'm in one now though )

Hm, in a way it's beneficial to bring attention to lax security. Reading their twitter, they have some good actors or really dumb people as fans - lauding them for sticking it to those in power, The Man, etc. Well, hopefully all that results is networks hardening. Or governments making the net a safer place, heh. One suggestion I had seen, was to make it illegal to store passwords in plaintext, that'd be neat.

Ahh ok. Never knew the DS games had a following, but it does bother people when a series gets mucked around with for the worse (or if its perceived to be). Been there with several of my favourite series. Time to wade into there then. And hey hey, I have a soul. I like..puppies and stuff.
