It being broken is a bit of an exaggeration though - although that depends if you include a 0-day patch in the picture- they've issued a tonne of patches out for it anyway so it's stable(or ish) now. Overlord is a shining example of the function of dual analog sticks. It's ported well to the PC, you just need a gamepad. Unlikely going to buy a peripheral for this one game, but the sweeping and stuff is easy with the mouse, although it messed up for me when I tried to sweep forward and the camera shifts to the back left. I did laugh when I saw the screen to choose a mistress using Alt, Q or RMB to choose.

Done with Overlord II, funny game overall. Last boss fight reminded me of my annoyance with the game, damn checkpoint saves and multi-stage boss fights. Control scheme wasn't ported to PC very well in some instances, but no matter

That's pretty tricky for hacking as having you code a program to break the encryption on a computer won't work. DX's "you just plug in and run the ICE Breaker" was sufficient for it, they could do similar. Then again maybe we can get hacking like the NOD ending in C&C, flying around in cyberspace shooting security drones and stuff, hehe. Bunch of new previews up at IGN, EG, 1UP. Doubt it's anything new, the bit where they describe how you make a bitter, guilt ridden cop all better through some dialogue is kind of amusing looking at it outside of a game.

"more complex" ? It'd be cool if they made you do buffer overrun or something simplistic like that. As much as I hate that guy for Vegas 2, doesn't sound like this is a total **** up.

Got Blade Runner working, so playing that. Should pass a Friday night at least.

What was specifically crappy about TW's combat system ? Kind of hard to implement a swordsman's moves generally, but the stances and the combinations got the job done. Not better than DA's, as that's a different type of combat.

Overlord 2 is a pretty funny game, didn't play the first though as I like doing things backwards apparently. Bit too concole though for my liking though.
