  1. That's pretty tricky for hacking as having you code a program to break the encryption on a computer won't work. DX's "you just plug in and run the ICE Breaker" was sufficient for it, they could do similar. Then again maybe we can get hacking like the NOD ending in C&C, flying around in cyberspace shooting security drones and stuff, hehe. Bunch of new previews up at IGN, EG, 1UP. Doubt it's anything new, the bit where they describe how you make a bitter, guilt ridden cop all better through some dialogue is kind of amusing looking at it outside of a game.
  2. "more complex" ? It'd be cool if they made you do buffer overrun or something simplistic like that. As much as I hate that guy for Vegas 2, doesn't sound like this is a total **** up.
  3. Got Blade Runner working, so playing that. Should pass a Friday night at least.
  4. What was specifically crappy about TW's combat system ? Kind of hard to implement a swordsman's moves generally, but the stances and the combinations got the job done. Not better than DA's, as that's a different type of combat.
  5. I thought it was decorating your house.
  6. Overlord 2 is a pretty funny game, didn't play the first though as I like doing things backwards apparently. Bit too concole though for my liking though.
  7. Lucky the shrapnel parted for him
  8. Eh Nazis ? But I guess the appeal is getting a gun that shoots rockets, or a jetpack and wielding a chainsaw as a sword. This line is amusing to me - "Relic producer Raphael Van Lierop said that Warhammer's Space Marines aren't the kinds of soldiers who hide behind rocks -- they charge ahead with everything they've got."
  9. Grim Fandango
  10. Yeah, but freeride will get boring for me quickly. Hopefully the short SP reports were just on the critical path not sidequests and things, then. Maybe I'll wait for reviews
  11. Game does seem pretty fun. Heard the single player is pretty short though, but still, will consider buying it.
  12. Will definitely have to download this, with all this praise.
  13. All the more reason to play. God damn Sun and heat.

    Canadians are worthless though.
  15. Zerg looks like they're getting the Horde treatment, loved the Overmind's courage line too, heh. I guess people accepted the split up into three games on the basis the SP story would be worth the effort and it's just disappointment. I'm guessing we find out Duran is behind everything.
  16. Codemasters trying again Tighter, more focused. So it'll be like COD or something.
  17. Complete with organic high heels
  18. That ending mission was kind of fun, although the timing of things made it mechanical. Ending was a disappointment though, but at least
  19. Well true enough, it'd have been cool if it were something like GR but with Space Marines (maybe a Deathwatch game is more suited for that). As for an RPG, well I dunno about Relic handling that, but it would be nice to see at least one set in the 40k universe., I agree. The gameplay seems to cry out for the Wolves, looking at it again
  20. Huzzah. Hope it's not just you. I know the Ultramarines get fluff love, but now they're at Primarch level ?
  21. DOW2 : Chaos Rising, again. Thinking about getting Castles II from GOG too.
  22. Sounds like most corp developer jobs.
  23. Remember change is a vector, not a scalar.
  24. Hm, how exactly are you preparing, and for 5 days ?
