  1. Playing Deus Ex, not going through in any particular playstyle although tending to the sneaky and non-lethal. Meant to finish this game..uh..7 years ago, but university and other games got in the way and then my CD got wrecked.
  2. Total Annihilation, liked it for the large scale battles, the soundtrack, the resource system and the (at the time) neat way fighters and bombers actually flew - rather than hover and fire.
  3. Damn, Thrall really is their golden boy.
  4. More classes, heh, yeah watch Blizzard attempt to balance or find a role for all those.
  5. Still Star Wars : Rebellion. I like how intelligence matters so much in this game.
  6. I'd have liked to see Tribes take BF1942's spot. But other than that, agree with most of them being on there (sort of wished for TA to be on there).
  7. People are impatient, having to learn a game is stupid (apparently), host of reasons. If we did get another X-COM game, I have some nightmare vision of it being like Vegas 2 with regenerating health, revivable fallen comrades and teemins masses of AI opposition that wait for you to cross a trigger point.
  8. Been playing Star Wars Rebellion, finally found the manual so I figured - what the hell. Pretty fun game, I'm not seeing what everyone hated about it. Might play some HoI3 tonight.
  9. Hit the deck!
  10. An improved Rebellion.
  11. You have a what in a what and you get a good load of what? If I hadn't played EVE I wouldn't have a clue about what you just said Haha, apologies. They added wormholes into EVE in the last update I think, so they lead to W-space. Basically it's like a low-sec system, except you're not in the 'real' world so you can't easily ship it all to Jita or some other hub. So we've set up a Player Owned Station to serve as a base as we salvage, mine, harvest whatever we can then (hopefully) return to normal space, sell it all get rich so we can get better ships to do it all over again. There, that's cleared it up.
  12. EVE, friend and I have a POS up in a W-space system so we're just clearing it out - good load of ISK so far.
  13. Supreme Commander 2 here. Nothing else really catches my fancy, guess I need to spend more time looking up tittles, heh
  14. Forgot this was being made, I'll probably get it on DVD.
  15. Oh, you went there. What? it's in the design documents of the canceled games, they'll implement in some way in the future. Hell they already took ideas from FOBOS 1 & 2, tactics, etc. Hah, was just kidding, thought you were going with the VB idea being looney as a witty jab :D
  16. Ah yeah, EVE solo play isn't impossible (I got myself into a Ferox and almost into a Rokh that way) but it's really..lonely. Heh, there's a lot to do though, took up scanning recently and found neat wormholes.
  17. For some reason played Blade Runner. Got an ending I didn't get before where you leave with one of the replicants, overall it's a pretty short game (even shorter playthroughs than Full Throttle now) and feels like an interactive movie - but I still liked it as much as I did in 97. That and EVE Online.
  18. Well when a screen pops up asking you a question and it's not the run of the mill types, it is an option. Most might not take the option best suited to them though, heh. I don't think people are giving FO2 a pass and hitting FO3, at least over this, the second had silly stuff but amazingly there wasn't any improvement it seems. So, will we be able to talk the aliens into leaving ?
  19. Give EVE a go!
  20. And that changes the fact that you have an option how, exactly ? Frankly if they wanted to say this has backing canon, they should do better than easter eggs. But then again...
  21. Outdoorsman skill allows you to avoid them no ? There's one option. So I'm forced to take a skill I might otherwise not want to take, just to avoid immersion breaking OOC real world references? You're the one saying there was no option. So yes, if you wish to avoid the easter eggs you can, or just ignore them. In any case you're not necessarily compelled or guaranteed to experience any given easter egg.
  22. Outdoorsman skill allows you to avoid them no ? There's one option.
  23. Pft are you new to the internet ? If there's any to get a rise out of, it'll be done.
  24. I've no clue what arguing about easter eggs belonging to canon has with the failings of the games, but as you will. The special encounters or easter eggs are thrown in for a lark, sometimes too much, and as others have said they're not in the canon. But then again, who cares about canon these days, stupid nerds. Heh.
