  1. Up to four players online, each player using one of the pre-defined characters (Lucas, Anjali, Katarina or Reinhart). No character can be used by more than one player. As far as we know, characters exist only in the context of one play-through, so you can't take the character you used and store it on your profile. As such, DS3 is meant to be played with friends or with an organized group.
  2. Ohhh, shiny! Scary Awesome Bear, yeah for People From The Timeline And Odo's Journal, and does that Armor Look Sick Or What?!? Also, Mammoth, and I want a piece of lore for That Armor that indicates that the woman who first used it was particularly busty, or wanted to look like she was . And I still want to know how Anjali's armor is 'pieced' gameplay-wise. We know Lucas (armor, pauldrons, boots and gauntlets), Reinhart (vest, pants, boots and headband) and Katarina (corset, leggings, gloves and hair-clip) but not precisely about Anjali. Anyways, thanks for those WUE .
  3. Still not out. I don't know what's happening. Best guess I can make, either Feargus, Obsidian or Square have forbidden Buck to upload it because Feargus was simply too chatty, or there is a new NDA.
  4. Sadly, no. I think a second Dungeon Siege movie has indeed been confirmed. Still made by Uwe Boll. And it should involve time travel. I don't think it's supposed to use DS3's characters though.
  5. Disappointing I must say, except for how Odo found Anjali. Also, wasn't Georges Ziets supposed to be writing the comics, or will he just pen one of the other issues?
  6. Not really an expansion, but the character models were changed for what looks like real-life models shots . Not too sure about some of them : http://www.dungeonsiege.com/characters.php And as a result, the Japanese website is the only one where we can see the original model that was intended for Reinhart. I am officialy asking the powers that be to include a switch so that we can go from the models-shot to the in-game models!
  7. I have set myself on a media blackout about The Witcher 2 for a long time, so I don't think I ever saw the video you're talking about. Sorry!
  8. Morons. All of them. And of course, I can't understand what they're talking about because the image isn't even in the article itself. Also, it looks like they tested online coop this time.
  9. Nah, that bit was added after, probably as a shout-out to Dragon Age 2, whose framed narrative had just been announced. It also showed that CD Projekt acknowledged the reaction of its fans and was going to react to it. Initially, that scene was totally serious. The nudity doesn't add maturity, but it makes sense in context. To contrast with your example, she was being tortured, and iron-branding and whipping are more 'efficient' on naked skin. No, the bit we're talking about came out soon after Bioware announced the framed narrative of DA2, and I think it was created as a reaction to DA2. It was just a piece of advertisement after all.
  10. Have you seen the UI? You can't have more than two of those things on the same screen!
  11. I'm not sure Nihilus and Sion are better than Malak.
  12. Why is Foltest going into combat with a robe ? That guy wore full plate the last time he went onto the front line, did he suffer brain damage at the end of The Witcher?
  13. The multiple fireballs of elemental-Anjali and her staff-spinning attack that we see from time to time are example of this?
  14. I think people are still expecting something akin to Diablo or to the original Dungeon Siege. That's the main problem.
  15. Can you tell us how the abilities are mapped to the mouse & keyboard?
  16. I think we can figure out the mouse scheme for moving at least. It looks like we will have to hold down something to make the character move forward, while the cursor's position will indicate the direction. I'm betting on a key of the keyboard, it's more comfortable than the mouse and it leaves two buttons ready for attacks. I suppose the attacks and abilities will work the same way. So, not really 'point & click', more like 'point'. Also, I think the cursor is obviously not the last version, it's kinda ugly and too small for my tastes.
  17. I've been looking at the pics from the Atomic HQ preview event funcroc linked us to in the previews thread, and is it me or did Lucas go through some kind of tweaking since the art we have on the first page of this thread? I mean, look : He looks older, 'harder'.
  18. Also, I'm curious about the use for the violet orbs. I thought they gave access to souped-up versions of the abilities, but apparently they're used to cast the abilities from the defensive stance. Could Nathaniel or someone else pass by and clarify bits a little?
  19. Herrr... nothing? Alright, maybe achievements. I thought that was pretty much clear. It's co-op for the sake of co-op, enabling friends to play with each other in a game that they like. It's not Diablo-style multiplayer, it's more like Icewind Dale/BG-style of co-op (except with a gameplay that works with multiple players this time).
  20. I'm puzzled . Shouldn't this answer your question?!?
  21. Alucard's bullets are more of the flesh-tearing and head-exploding kind . Unless we're talking about Rip van Winkle...
  22. Shouldn't that be the magazine's call?
  23. Katarina sounds like a nasty piece of work . I wouldn't want to fall to her curses!
