  1. Captain Morgan's pineapple. Good stuff 8.5/10 would replay.
  2. Returning to Resi7. Don't really like the plot for this one, or the characters besides Jack (Mia is especially annoying), but the gameplay is sound. I still have not beat it on Madhouse, which I actually had to rage quit first time around because I absolutely could not get past Jack 3.0 when you battle him in the boathouse, tried literally 30 times or so.
  3. I found TW3 to be piss easy on Death March, but then again I "cheated" and put all of my points in Alchemy and maybe a few in Signs like Axii and Quen. Red skills are for nubs.
  4. Any non-alcoholic beverage should quench your thirst but yes I do think that the player should have a water canteen of some sort to refill, but then again I don't think Obsidian was going for the "survivalist" type of game here.
  5. "TOW is one of the worst Obsidian games" followed by "I just replayed DA:O" explains a lot.
  6. After all these years they're doing a 1.5 instead of a 3.0? Sounds a bit diluted dunnit? Sounds like they're just trying to push VR hardware more than anything. I see what you did there, Valve.
  7. Googling "Best Ford SUV" would net you some specific results though and if you actually read my post you would see that I was specific in recommending RGB gaming keyboards as the best and leaving room for specific personal preference.
  8. Daniel Alpbert is the lead art designer https://www.gameinformer.com/2019/02/20/the-story-behind-the-outer-worlds-amazing-art And yes, art design is just one of the many stellar aspects of TOW, and I find it hilarious that some people are rating it "good but not great", when in fact it is one of the best RPG's to date.
  9. I also did not get selected the one time I got picked, which was a massive relief, though I found it hilarious that the security guards were asking me about my job and it's pay because security guards don't get paid ****. Anyway I didn't do anything today.
  10. Google "RGB gaming keyboard", have fun.
  11. Almost everything you read in Western Media about the CCCP is bull****. If you do believe it you are probably a sociopath or a fascist, or both.
  12. As a game in and of itself it is fantastic, so I don't think the fact that's a remake really matters all that much. But then again I'm pretty much used to lack of sheer originality at this point, and welcome tactical and technical improvements to old philosophies. Sign of the times. Having said that, I am surprised Metro: Exodus didn't make the cut at least as an honorable mention. The plot is phenomenal.
  13. I enjoyed RE1 in 1997 and enjoyed the remake in 2002. I enjoyed RE2 in 1998 and enjoyed the remake in 2019. there's my take...
  14. I already called out Resident Evil 2 and The Outer Worlds before this list. Never played the others, as they fall out of my spectrum of interest. Disco looks interesting at first glance but something about it just doesn't sit well with me. My instinct tells me to ignore it and wait for the next similarity.
  15. I think the biggest culprits here are Bethesda and Bioware, and I don't see any games from them on the list. There's a difference between deliberately dumbing games down and gravitating them from already established modes of gameplay.
  16. MSI Afterburner and RiviaStatisticServer work great together. Downloading the former comes with the latter.
  17. My problem with half life is that gameplay becomes boring after a while. They're really good at foreplay and feeding you into the plot and it's atmosphere (which are great, don't get me wrong) but after a few hours....eh.
  18. I think it's more to do with party based isometric RPG's being a niche genre than little tiny details like dialogue and lore. There was an uptick of support for PoE1 due to nostalgia and "something different than what we have" but all in all it remains a....niche genre. Sorry to be a buzzkill but that's the sad reality of modern gaming.
  19. Funny how white lower class Obama '08 voters are now Alt Right types. I never cared for Obama because I was subconsciously aware that the party he was running under was way too corrupt and damaged beyond repair to actually deliver anything significant, but what can I say?
  20. I'm from New England and remained loyal to the Red Sox and the Patriots before 2001 and 2004 respectively, when nobody thought they could win. Now I find myself rooting for Detroit teams because the tragedy of the midwest holds a dear to place to me. Anyway I could care less if the Pats win at this point, they had their run, now lets see where the next phenomena lies.
  21. Yes I always make it a point to shoot for upper middle class rigs. The last time I spent several grand on a PC the thing got outflanked in both price and performance within a few months. Going midrange was wary at first but when I discovered I could play Prey on max with 75fps on a several hundred dollar PC I became a mid-ranger for life. Anyway just upgraded to get ready and carry me through 2020 16 gigs Ram core i5-9600k Radeon RX 5700
  22. Told myself I wouldn't do this so early but I caved and bought a Radeon RX 5700, a Core i5-9600k and 8 more GiGs of ram. The good news is that these should hold me off for at least a year and a half and with a new PSU installed I can upgrade on the fly. Hey, at least gaming isn't expensive as automobile junkies!
  23. Magic Weapon + Uchigatana is a great early build yes, also good have Great Soul arrow in there as well for ranged control. Will require some dodging and maneuvering though, as chances are you have to sacrifice points in HP and Equip Load.
  24. Pyromancer is easily the most OP class in DS3 on its own terms. Caster is only good when you combine it with a high dex/stamina/short weapons build.
  25. The United States has a history of genocide and white supremacy but we also have a history of doing the right thing when the situation calls for it (Civil War, WW2, etc). Will it take another war to transform American (and perhaps, Western) society writ large? Time will tell. Whilst I'm cautiously optimistic about the future, the American right (roughly 25% of the country) are extremely radicalized so any kind of socio-economic reform won't come easy.
