Is CD Projekt now Rockstar Poland or what? I mean of course I'll by C77 now that I've upgraded my rig but it's like they're copying everything from Rockstar's playbook.

Josh Sawyer on why modern Obsidian plays it safe
Sawyer now gets to command the younger developers. See, it pays to take a beating early on then when the next generation pops up you can triumphantly say "Don't do that!" PoE was a Kickstarter title so it's risks are greatly diminished. Every game that sells post release is more money than they had before.

Captain Morgan's pineapple. Good stuff 8.5/10 would replay.

What are you playing now: The New Thread
Returning to Resi7. Don't really like the plot for this one, or the characters besides Jack (Mia is especially annoying), but the gameplay is sound. I still have not beat it on Madhouse, which I actually had to rage quit first time around because I absolutely could not get past Jack 3.0 when you battle him in the boathouse, tried literally 30 times or so.

I found TW3 to be piss easy on Death March, but then again I "cheated" and put all of my points in Alchemy and maybe a few in Signs like Axii and Quen. Red skills are for nubs.

SUPERNOVA: WHERE TO FiND WATER?
ComradeYellow replied to LaMOi's topic in The Outer Worlds: Character Builds & Strategies (Spoiler Warning!)Any non-alcoholic beverage should quench your thirst but yes I do think that the player should have a water canteen of some sort to refill, but then again I don't think Obsidian was going for the "survivalist" type of game here.

"TOW is one of the worst Obsidian games" followed by "I just replayed DA:O" explains a lot.

Half-Life 3 sorta announced
After all these years they're doing a 1.5 instead of a 3.0? Sounds a bit diluted dunnit? Sounds like they're just trying to push VR hardware more than anything. I see what you did there, Valve.

Best gaming keyboard?
Googling "Best Ford SUV" would net you some specific results though and if you actually read my post you would see that I was specific in recommending RGB gaming keyboards as the best and leaving room for specific personal preference.

Daniel Alpbert is the lead art designer https://www.gameinformer.com/2019/02/20/the-story-behind-the-outer-worlds-amazing-art And yes, art design is just one of the many stellar aspects of TOW, and I find it hilarious that some people are rating it "good but not great", when in fact it is one of the best RPG's to date.

What you did Today: The Story of you
I also did not get selected the one time I got picked, which was a massive relief, though I found it hilarious that the security guards were asking me about my job and it's pay because security guards don't get paid ****. Anyway I didn't do anything today.

Google "RGB gaming keyboard", have fun.

Almost everything you read in Western Media about the CCCP is bull****. If you do believe it you are probably a sociopath or a fascist, or both.

The Outer Worlds is nominated for GOTY, Best RPG and Best Narrative at The Game Awards
As a game in and of itself it is fantastic, so I don't think the fact that's a remake really matters all that much. But then again I'm pretty much used to lack of sheer originality at this point, and welcome tactical and technical improvements to old philosophies. Sign of the times. Having said that, I am surprised Metro: Exodus didn't make the cut at least as an honorable mention. The plot is phenomenal.

The Outer Worlds is nominated for GOTY, Best RPG and Best Narrative at The Game Awards
I enjoyed RE1 in 1997 and enjoyed the remake in 2002. I enjoyed RE2 in 1998 and enjoyed the remake in 2019. there's my take...

The Outer Worlds is nominated for GOTY, Best RPG and Best Narrative at The Game Awards
I already called out Resident Evil 2 and The Outer Worlds before this list. Never played the others, as they fall out of my spectrum of interest. Disco looks interesting at first glance but something about it just doesn't sit well with me. My instinct tells me to ignore it and wait for the next similarity.

The Outer Worlds is nominated for GOTY, Best RPG and Best Narrative at The Game Awards
I think the biggest culprits here are Bethesda and Bioware, and I don't see any games from them on the list. There's a difference between deliberately dumbing games down and gravitating them from already established modes of gameplay.

What is coming
MSI Afterburner and RiviaStatisticServer work great together. Downloading the former comes with the latter.

Half-Life 3 sorta announced
My problem with half life is that gameplay becomes boring after a while. They're really good at foreplay and feeding you into the plot and it's atmosphere (which are great, don't get me wrong) but after a few hours....eh.

Why is PoE2 not successful ?
ComradeYellow replied to ekt0's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I think it's more to do with party based isometric RPG's being a niche genre than little tiny details like dialogue and lore. There was an uptick of support for PoE1 due to nostalgia and "something different than what we have" but all in all it remains a....niche genre. Sorry to be a buzzkill but that's the sad reality of modern gaming.

Politics First Contact
Funny how white lower class Obama '08 voters are now Alt Right types. I never cared for Obama because I was subconsciously aware that the party he was running under was way too corrupt and damaged beyond repair to actually deliver anything significant, but what can I say?

nfl 2019-2020
I'm from New England and remained loyal to the Red Sox and the Patriots before 2001 and 2004 respectively, when nobody thought they could win. Now I find myself rooting for Detroit teams because the tragedy of the midwest holds a dear to place to me. Anyway I could care less if the Pats win at this point, they had their run, now lets see where the next phenomena lies.
