Yes, this sounds kind of... hilarious or foolish maybe but come now, I'm just trying at a bit of some fiction. I'm not being specific really because I cannot be. The current progress of my work doesn't allow for much more detail. Keeping in mind I only need "Character/Location ideas for a story". I didn't think how utterly bad Freedor's name was. I knew it had the word "free" and that stretched it but I only now realize just how disappointing that name really is. I need names... Meadevil era. Humans, dwarves, waning elf populations. A World War event happened with "the Alliance" (need new name) versus empire of Durran. Durran raised powerful dark men who enslaved the populations and began to destroy life itself, for "unknown reasons" (will elaborate further on...) After war with Alliance victory, Durran seems nothing but villages but the Alliance also becomes weak. Durran becomes stronger and is renamed Khire and some of the people of alliance guys are suspicious. Elf land* and Castine, also in the Alliance are dormant. Khire works behind the scenes and begins infiltration of *human land* via bribing a senator. Large (Australia size) island is in middle of planet (say planet is half-size of earth for distance figuring purposes) This island is Stalvert and becomes another target of infiltration. it is wanted as a beachhead. Stalvert should easily fall to Khire troops* (*no special name yet ie stormtroopers) An elite human scout/commando is on his way in his ship to trade @ stalvert with his young son and notices various Khire ships. Meanwhile a humble senator in Freedor brings his concerns to the senate where they are at best delayed, worst ignored. Story ends here except for a bit thats to rough at this point to add. The scout may have to be the advance to turn things around in Stalvert. (EDIT VERSION) This is all I have so far. A nice naive view, Xard. We should thrive to make sure that our own people are taken care, and those who seek us harm eliminated. A government's first and foremost priority should be to its own people. May that be my government, your government, or Walsh's. Once that priority is satisfied and the country is secured then a government can set aside resources to aid others. I am not saying that the US should not help those in need, but let the US take care of those who are in need at home before those in other countries. Xard meant it quite broadly, Sand. If a country attacks the United States, causing lost of life and damaging property, then we should go in and make damn sure they don't have the ability to do so again. Yes. Hermia(?spelling) is a engineer buff (of course) on the Daedalus (next generation Prometheus). The team also uses Asgard tech such as the beaming gadgets. Atlantis doesn't tell you about the Asgard because they told you in SG-1 but I'm not an SG-1 buff so I need to watch more SG-1. Thats fine because I have lots of SG-1 recorded on my DVR which I will likely watch later. I've watched nearly all the Atlantis so yes, time for SG-1 till more SGA is recorded! Time to study Norse roots in the Asgard!
