Keyboard and mouse could be attached in some games even to PS2, for PS3 is that normal, and as i wrote few posts before you can install linux inside PS3 aswell... so you can do other "PC only" things on PS3 aswell, how shocking... And you know there are lot of PS1 or Sega Genesis/Megadrive or SuperNES games are still awesome and bigger fun than half of the "nextgen console/pc games" released last 3 years, but you AMAGAD MY LARA CRAFT HAZ BOOBZ OF ZILLION POLYGOONZ ON MY NEW GeFARCEOVERNINETHOUSAND!!! type of game lovers will never understand that...

One of the reason why its wise to buy PS3 for Final Fantasy XIII rather than Xbox 360 ... I am realy curious how many DVDs would be needed for that game The second and the biggest reason to buy PS3 for that game is Final Fantasy versus 13 (still PS3 exclusive ) so you save one Xbox 360 purchase when you want to play both games

Especially when the only major thing you can do is play games on a console. Not True for PS3, you can install Linux on it, add keyboard and mouse and use it as regular PC... Except PC games ...

Yes, in the same way the PSOne and PS2 have lasted for ten years. The last five as budget alternatives to the newer shinier console. Looks like few hundred thousend No one cares about it, PS2 still sells like hot cakes, and even big houses like Square Enix are still doing some games for PS2 I am very happy with my PS2, and would not sell it, because the games i have are not to get on anything else, and most of them has better gameplay than most of the "next-gen" stuff released for it's competitors or PCs... not even for 500EUR...

I was always buying stuff on saying "I am not rich enough, to buy me cheap things"... i have no clue if that is used or even correct in english aswell, but it's a direct translation from slovak. Now i have to compare the prices aswell

If you enthusiast you can easily craft home PC even for 30000 EUR I for example never bought anything that costs less than 1500EUR (my current PC with all the upgrades i made last year is atm worth around 2000-2250 EUR), my most expensive PC was more than 2500EUR, but that was long time ago... If you want best experience, has a good job and are single, you can afford that easily, now that i have long term relationship, and thinking about children and marriage, i would be fool to invest more than 300EUR into gaming (even at that money is my gf looking bad at me, because she thinks that gaming sucks )... At least i do have my own apartment already, but for 2000EUR wich i had saved for my new rig of awesomness, i rather buy some furniture...

After druid finish his epic mount quest he can summon the boss once a day (if he kills him) on heroic sethekk... soloable at 80 for naxx25 equiped tank druid

Yeah my druid friend is trying to get it from last summer, he is clearing Sethekk for that mount almost every day and still no luck for him

I am working hard on the 100 mount achievement I have already accumulated 75 And the stratholme flying mount is one of the easier mounts to obtain atm If you can some special mount you can try when you are bored to go into lvl 60 Stratholme to kill Baron Rivendare, it is easy to solo for lvl 80 and even after they upped the droprate very few people have the mount I am still missing that one in my collection

If you want some good PvP action in MMORPG, you might just wait for Darkfall Online, hopefully the game will be good to play... Still waiting on beta key so i did not tried it yet... It is okay for surfing and light downloading. You'd want something a bit better for heavy gaming, streaming and downloading. Also, it is never really "fast enough" just like processors are always getting faster and more efficient. Same oppinion, my sister is totaly into streaming video, she almost never use classic television anymore, and 2Mbit is realy very limited for that purpose, especialy now when she found out about High Definiton.

And no one is saying the PC is not more powerful than a console, I am for example saying that it is not an option for average gamer customer because it is still 200USD more expensive than Xbox 360... try to read whole my posts not only few paragraphs... Who doesn't already own a PC these days? Upgrading an office PC to run games should be cheaper than buying an Xbox 360. It highly depends on how much is the customer educated into computers... From my praxis i can tell you that common people are more likely to buy new PC than upgrade it. It might be just a perk in a area where i live though, so i would not asume that this is a standard customer behaviour everywhere in the world...

Heh combat on higher levels is faster at least with my warlock is :D If your dwarf is by any chance a paladin, then you are out of luck at least until lvl 40-60, when i was leveling my paladin i thought that i die from boredom at low levels... on top levels correct spec works on mobs as a chainsaw

1) To play WotLK you have to have in your account linked Classic CD-Key, BC CD-Key and obviously WotLK CD-Key 2) I do not know if it is included, but there is free trial... So if you have Classic and BC enabled, you can download the trial key and later play wotlk after upgrade with same characters afaik... It's not 1 month though.

again, windows is not a "standard," it is proprietary software. what is being discussed in this article is an open architecture, not unlike the various bus standards, communications standards, etc. Actualy what is being discussed here is the possiblity, if it ends as a open architecture, which could be good for customers at the end, or it ends up as a closed proprietary milking cow of some big corporation

In here mostly you can choose to pickup cheap flatrate with very limited bandwith... around 1-2Mbit/s or very fast internet with few GB per month for same price, or extremely expensive and fast flatrate... in a level of few hundred EUR. Fastest internet is for students on campus here, and its also cheapest...

I think you need to do some research on current computer technology, bro, and stop relying on what existed when you first started selling computers. The same thing apply to current PC customers aswell... You would be surprised how many PC owners, if you offered them GPU for free and let them chose from Asus Nvidia EN7950GT/HTDP/512M and Asus ATI EAH4870 DK/HTDI/512MD5, without access to any outside help, will choose the nvidia card just because "it has bigger number, it must be better" reason. EDIT: (Or because they heard from someone that Nvidia is always the best choice for graphics). /EDIT It's realy crazy, that so many PC savvy poeple cannot look through the eyes of common person who do understand PC computing as much as quantum physics (i am not affraid to say that about 75-85% of all people look at computers that way) And i am not your bro...

Yes we all know that you are able to do that, but the difference between you and me (and anyone on this forum) and a random PC buyer, ist that the random PC buyer have absolutely no clue about what all these numbers and letters means, except the numbers right before €. One of the best posts summing all that up is this one from bioware off topic forums: You can do that, sure, but the entire dialogue is would still be incommensurable. The problem isn't that most casual buyers are unsure of how to decide between products (though obviously this is a concern) but rather that they don't know what those products are what they exist to do. I can debate the merits of a 9800GTX versus a Radeon 4870 X2 with someone qualified, but a casual buyer will probably ask, "what do I need a video card for and what does it mean for it to have more memory?" That's the difference in understand that I am trying to highlight. Most of use who are hardcore into PC gaming are very well aware of what we need to play games; but those who aren't, and aren't really familiar with the intricacies of computers to begin with, knowing what the right things to talk about are really daunting. Learning about computers and their components isn't that easy, because people are really, seriously blindingly ignorant. Lots of things that we'd take for granted are things that people have no idea about, like the difference between physical and virtual memory, or what the difference is between a single and dual processor, or what exactly memory does. All of this stuff is pretty complex, especially taking into account that people don't have any technical background at all. You'd have to start from the lowest possible level of complexity and teach people from the ground up. It's like learning elementary biology - sure, people could do it, but it's kinda hard, it takes time and effort, and most people don't really care. I have been making my living with selling PCs few years ago, and after 1st week at my work i rather stopped to count people which answered to the question "What will be the primary use of your PC?" with "All I want is something simple, i do not need anything powerful, it's just for games." And after i told them that gaming is one of the most demanding applications for PCs, and recommended them gaming rig for 500EUR instead of they dream rig for 300EUR with Celeron, intel IGP, 256MB RAM and 40GB HDD, they just looked at me with the "Another clown who wants to steal 200EUR from us" look... When you ask random PC owner what is the difference between ATI and Nvidia, they end up with same look as I end up everytime, when I go shopping with my girlfriend and she ask me "what you think is better for me, that Margaret Astor mascara or that Rimmel one over there?" I hope you now understand, that all that random buyers at BestBuy who want to play games, when they see Xbox 360 for 200USD, PS3 for 400USD and PC for 500USD go home with the Xbox 360 and dont give a damn about that PCs for 500USD can play all current PC games on maxed out settings...
