  1. Not enough studies have been done/released... but I did find this one from Reflexive interesting. Apparently they had a rather large boost in sales after implementing some anti-keygen/crack measures. ...I think I hear footsteps... probably the anti-drm folks coming to dismiss or discredit this article Lot of such articles was released about sales of music gone high when DRM was drop down, lot of small music groups got up to 400% boost of sales after they album was torrented etc...
  2. Will it? You upgrade that often! Yes... this year new PC, next year Win7... Last time activation of one software i use based on hardware changed when i removed my backup harddrive from PC... i connect and remove with backup harddrive all the time... and i am reinstalling my system very often aswell... using tools from Acronis, it takes 15 minutes max to reinstall my PC... so why not doing it so often... last time i reinstalled XP, my boot time gone 30 second faster, and launching of programs 1 second... *Shruggs* Your loss... Having my PC fast and clean all the time is no loss for me...

  4. And i dislike people who thinks that only their oppinion is the correct one... Opinions are fine, but the FACTS! Facts can be corrupted on the intarweb. It's just one of those LONG boring pointless pathetic conversations. Am I interested in MoW , YES! Will DRM effect my ability to play MoW, NO! Am I interested in MoW , YES! Will DRM effect my ability to play MoW, Hell YES!
  5. And i dislike people who thinks that only their oppinion is the correct one...
  6. Congratulations, you just found why we are so opposed to limited installs being part of the games
  7. Demigod sales thriumph over piracy. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2009/04...over-piracy.ars
  8. There are few Starforce games which were not cracked so to this day, but even Securom compared to Starforce is like sling compared to catapult...
  9. Yeah, but what we have to remember is that were just the vocal minority. Whats the old saying, for every roach you see there are 100 you dont see. Thats us, were the roaches. For every poster you see there are 100 that dont post/care. Add up every poster on every Fallout board and what do you have? Maybe 300 active posters? And FO sold MILLIONS of copies. So, at the end of the day, while it appears a large group of us are in agreement the end result is far different. if they dont care to post about them playing old games does not mean they never play them... If the vocal minority of my nation would not speak 20 years ago, i would still be living in country ruled by communism...
  10. oh yeah, because paying ten times for same thing is so cool!!!
  11. The difference is that I dont eat games, and i dont play with my hamburgers... And guess what... Just as an example Fallout 1 is already 11 years old, and when you look in here http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showt...5&start=195, you find still many people playing it... Unbelievable isn't it? Enjoy your 3 times rentals, we enjoy our long life goods...
  12. Won my first fight (against a lvl 3 Brute - http://amentep.mybrute.com/tf/6847507 ), lost - some might argue I was unmercifully ground under the heel of my opponent - in the second match (against a lvl 7 Brute - http://amentep.mybrute.com/tf/6913043 ) Kinda fun. Will go back to normal fights for awhile, though I think. i do attend tournaments everytime i can levels are not so big difference in my brute... i have seen in finale lvl 21 beating lvl 47
  13. I think it is even lower, but the monsters are realy realy hard for low levels... But i just dont remember it aswell, last time i played it was veryvery long time ago
  14. Heh maybe you are right, i dont know, i am just judging based on my ex-guild... i do not play it anymore... and all i know if they do breeze through the content so fast, there is not everything by the book Enjoy the game while you still having fun, dont let you spoiled by me
  15. Yes i am always looking for difficult experience, it feels much better if you best the biggest obstacles and enemies... Look at it that way... If you were in your national Hockey Team, what would you like more? If your team won against Russia or if you won against Japan? WoW isn't hardcore after WotLK, it was pretty hardcore in Vanilla edition, and little bit easier in BC... I enjoyed to play it... But last time i felt some big achievement was when we killed Twin Emperors in AQ40 (we never killed Cthun and KelThuzad before BC unfortunately ), we have spoken about it on forums for weeks... after killing Illidan and even Kil Jaeden we were like... Ok we did it... let's go play DoTA now, more fun... EDIT: I quit WoW after 4 years, i did not want to, but it was realy no challenge for me last 3 months after WotLK came out... I enjoyed every single day i played it before WotLK, and i enjoyed a lot of days after WotLK came out, but state of raiding and heroics, is realy realy laughable in WotLK... And yes, i play Darkfall atm, because i feel big achievement everyday while playing this awesome game, bacause it is realy hard as hell to stay alive in there
  16. Bah, it's same as before... My wow casual ex-guild already killed 10 out of 14 bosses in Ulduar25... 2 weeks after they released it... i am so glad that i have quit the game... it's absolute EZ mode :S
  17. Tutorial how to fight against characters with bear pets :D http://mamoulian.mybrute.com/fight/?d=mast...;k=f78b1dc9f764
  18. Yesterday i got owned by Chuck Norris http://kacicka.mybrute.com/fight/89424287 But Today I have just beat Mr. T !!! http://mamoulian.mybrute.com/fight/94726546
  19. not good idea, because if you pay for the product, it means you agree with everything given to you, including DRM... I am one of people who things not buying gives bigger notice to publishers that you disagree with them than buying and cracking...
  20. I just hope the new battle.net account thingie does not change into another steam :S
  21. That's just a breather, a similarly difficult fight awaits at the entrance of the Grand Staff. Yes I know what you mean - that gigantic worm! Yeez... I tried everything! But there's no way I can bring that bugger down. First kill is easy, but when he resurrects, he already uses a full charge immediately. That's just unfair. No matter what tactics I use, there's always that little bit too much that brings my party down. I'm no further wasting time on that game. Don't give up so easily
  22. You know, in these trying economic times, consumers think twice how do they spent their money...
  23. *sighs* In 18 months they could release more than 3 adventure packs, if they would not be stupid enough to craft such ****ty DRM... Some people realy hate earning more money...
