Again with removing variety. Way to go Blizzard. Dio 2 had that too. No it certainly didn't, except for rare niche weapons introduced by the xpack (orbs, claws, amazon javs and bows). It was an annoying shift, but largely immaterial since all the main weapons were freely usable by any class. But, for example, it's patently stupid not to allow Wizards to use certain weapons (such as axes) when we know for a fact that the battlemage is one of the 3 skill trees for the wizard! You know there might be a skill in Battlemage tree like "Wield Battlepichfork" You never know And yes I am one of the old farts who thinks that Mage who spent 30 years studying scrolls should not be able to wield heavy weapons

I disagree. There are different ways to protect information from being used against the owners wishes. Eventually methods will be put in place that work. It's inevitable. The whole DRM argument is silly anyway. Its the game owner's right to do what they want with the game. If they want to take the source code, roll it up in a sealed ferroconcrete container and sink it five miles deep in the ocean, that's their right. It's their game. Nobody else's opinions on the issue are even relevant. Sorry, but I as a customer should have some say, like i do have some saying for example for not working airbags... i should be able to get my money back for broken products!!!

You know... the reason why they do it, is beacuse the company can see how many people downloaded their games by torrents, so pirates make them cry even more, and they come up with even more retarded DRM which pisses off many many more legitimate users, which starts boycotting them aswell, which can in the end lead to bankrupcy of the said company, which would make many many many gamers very very happy

Yeah, but how well did that work out for Infinity Ward? They sold a crap load of copies, but I still remember at least one of them complaining that there was some huge number (1 million+?) of pirated copies playing online. *shrugs* I don't know how things worked for IW, but EA decided that every victory and kill you make in ANY facet of the game should be counted towards your "ranking". Thus they're gonna keep track of all your stats on a primary server. You can access the account from anywhere and play your guy from anywhere. IIRC IW kept all your stats and profiles on your hard drive which meant if you wiped your system, you'd loose your multiplayer rank, hich EA is actually gonna prevent. wow... i finaly can get a rank for playing a game... and it will be ONLINE!!! WHAT A REVOLUTIONARY IDEA!!! THAT MUST BE AN AWESOME PIECE OF SOFTWARE THERE!!!! PS: Starcraft had this 10 years ago already and without online only requirement...
