Mamoulian War

I had to take a break from my EU1 Austria campaign because of busy work schedule. Right after I get back into normal, I have decided to buy Van Helsing I and II on GOG and been playing little bit of that once in a while. I started to play with Thaumaturge and right on the Hardest difficulty. It can be insane sometimes, but so far after more than 30 hours of playing, I have died around 30-35 times only. I am enjoying it much more than Torchlight which was for me pretty boring ( I have also dusted off my PS3 and started to attend Gran Turismo 6 online championships again. I am enjoying it a lot. Mostly the GT300 Championship and DTM Championship, because at these two, I don't suck as much as in GT500, and getting good points every race. In GT500 I am so bad, that I managed to get my first point in 13th race of the Championships, and it looks like it will stay that way a little bit longer, because next track is Brands Hatch and I am sooooo bad at this track... And today I have finished the 899th out of 900 Battle Trophies in Star Ocean 4 :-D To kill 55 Grigori with Faize. I managed to kill 4 of them in the main game, so I have to kill 51 in Post game. The only way how to respawn them, was to kill the second hardest boss in the fame over and over. Had to kill him 15 times :-/ It took me maybe 20-25 hours, but now only last few hundred battles to get the last 3000 battles trophy and then I will be just one playthrough away from Platinum Trophy... But before that playthrough I will have to finish the Austria Campaign and finish my Let's Play of EU so I can start playing EU2 and finish Lords of Xulima and Xenonauts as well :-D

I was in a social guild which was raiding once in a while, the LFG and LFR tools destroyed the social aspect of the whole game for most of the people playing. Tanks got their groups after this feature in 15 seconds, healers in 2 minutes, DPS in 20-30 minutes... In the end everyone quit the game because it brought up drama, that tanks are always locked out of heroics and raids :-/

Well both of you are right about WoW. I was raidinig in vanilla and TBC a lot, I have never finished Naxxramas, but I have finished Sunwell. But, when I have started WoTLK, our casual guild, was able to breeze through Naxxramas in two days... With green/blue gear. And this was the time, where the game became so easy for me, that I started to quit and resubscribe on a quarterly basis, and I was still able to keep track with SP and MMO content easily. Both raiding and non-raiding content with addition of LFR feature completely destroyed the social aspect of the guild, because no one needed guild for anything anymore and doing content with randoms became so boring that I ended with Buying Cataclysm without ever activatiing the registration key... After that I never resubscribed again. All friends left the game, because of the same reasons. Social interactions was what everyone liked about the game the most... And it was gone...

I am speechless...

Ok, purchased, we'll see how I will like the game O.o At least now I have someone to blame, if I will not like it It will take some time, before I download 10GB of data

The incredible Adventures of Van Helsing I and II Yes or No? Haven't played any quality Diablo clone for ages, and right now it's on sale... The setting for me is really appealing, but Path of Exile and Torchlight was kind of boring to me Haven't played and not planning to play Diablo III, because of the online only ridiculousness... GOG also confirmed that Final Cut will be for free for all owners of all three games >link<, so getting it now for me is really really tempting...

Remember the 'Wipe Your OS' bug that it came as a free add-on? Luckily no. What kind of bug that was?

Well France owned it for very very long time. They got it in one war maybe 100 years ago. Until now :-D It was in middle of my territory and I did not liked it, so in last Blitzkrieg I finally got it from them as a part of a peace resolution. :-D

After long break, I have played another two sessions in Pathfinder Society, with my friends over roll20 I have played this time a Nagaji Warpriest, I am level one, and we almost had TPK in the middle of module, because our Monk is to much trigger-happy

Well, After reading some people have trouble with manually updating the game, I have done some experiments. It looks, that the correct gog manual installation is running first the PoE 2.01 patch, and the running Winter March 2.01 patch. After this procedure, the game after launch correctly shows the version of the game as 2.01.0721 PX1 If you are using GOG galaxy as well, turn off autoupdate for PoE, despite being at correct version, Galaxy still wants to redownload whole 6GB of patches again!!! I hope this helps...

Well, it's done when it's done. I bet, that I want to play it as much as you, but storming their forums will not make the game release sooner I rather wait one more year for bug free release, than to play bug infested rushed game, which would deeply harm my enjoyment of the final product. As I know Obs for a long time, it will be neither of the two cases But I hope they will lean more toward the bug free one

Hello BAdler. I have installed PoE 2.0 and White March Part 1 from GoG. I just noticed that there are two updates available: One is PoE 2.01 and second one is WM 2.01. GoG Galaxy started to download 6GB patch automatically, but both of these patches when downloaded manualy are just 244MB in total. I have decided to do manual update, because my download speed is terrible. Do you know the answer, if I should apply both patches (with vanilla PoE first) or just the White March one? No words on GOG forums yet. Thank you.
