  1. Fighting games are with over 50ms ridiculous even for complete noobs like myself. Even the HDMI lag can destroy your timing on some older TVs. And this lag is much lower than 50ms. Same with MOBAs. And FPSs? Probably they will solve this with some sort of aimbots. But that would pretty much destroy these games on competitive level.
  2. Well, I can already see that every publisher will be pushing their own cloud gaming service, and paying for each one? Well, I rather go tabletop Pathfinder or Numenera and use the saved money for vacations on Cook Islands...
  3. So I got 80% off voucher for Blackguards Heretic Kingdoms Trine Enchanted Edition Trine 2 Sir, You Are Being Hunted S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky Two Worlds 2 Well, as a well funded community with well funded and exceptional taste, will you give me an advice, which of these games is most worthy for spending the voucher?
  4. More Pillars. They opened pretty new universe to us, would be shame to not work it on it further as soon as possible, so the vibe does not wear off. EDIT: And of course, the working engine should help them a lot to bring it to us faster.
  5. Absolutely. There was a small, but incredibly well done persistent world server for NWN1 called Montlethia. The interactive roleplaying experience there was almost indescribable. After a bad experience, I rolled a cleric of Talos and went full darkside. My villain became so notorious for extortion, chaos, and mayhem, that the DMs made one of the port towns hostile to me. That town's guard even had an official quest with journal entries and everything where they were to hunt me down and bounty my ears. One day I got caught by a group of Tyrians (my mortal adversaries) alone deep in a dangerous part of the woods. I even used my special unique ring given to me by the DMs that could change the weather, but there were too many of them and my reign of terror was brought to an end--not before taking several of them with me of course. The paladin that turned in my ears even refused the kingly bounty...how disgusting is that? Hahaha. Such good times. Well after some informations posted about the game in last two weeks, I can already see the developers saying. "We disabled the evil alignment to streamline the multiplayer experience."
  6. This statement calls for the Nerd Justice Warrior action!!!
  7. I can sympathize with both sides of the debate in this case but you really think such an intelligent man doing such a significant interview would have known better or at least had someone tell him how inappropriate that shirt was Bruce and any other people getting crazy about this T-Shirt... You probably should watch what a real woman has to say about this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFdsq96Aa98 EDIT: if for any reason, you can't see youtube videos, as I am unable to see them for any strange reason, here is the link...
  8. It was Witcher 3 Expansion Pass
  9. Thank you for the heads up. I still have my game as not shipped yet. Will there by any way how to track the shipment?
  10. I had to check everything haha, but for me, the Wild Orlans are really lacking in the portrait department! My first game is with Orlan, but the only one portrait available made me little bit disappointed, because it kind of does not match the visual style of character model of my Cipher
  11. Strange, got i3 2100, 4GB ram and GTX 760 Mini, and I don't think I have noticed any framedrops for me. Win 7 pro 64 and 1680x1050 resolution.
  12. I would love to see PF game on PoE engine, but with proper turn based combat!!!
  13. Nice look into how development of the game for "mass audience" looks like Text game, The Writer Will Do Something http://mrwasteland.itch.io/twwds It's really worth reading EDIT: And here you can find few words from the author. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/04/play-the-game-that-shows-how-hard-it-is-to-make-a-good-game/
  14. I think Keyrock will be very happy after reading this http://www.siliconera.com/2015/04/01/fatal-frame-black-haired-shrine-maiden-coming-west-year/
  15. Loving this game, it is everything I've expected from Obsidian when I backed the game, plus many many more features, which I did not expected, but positively surprised me. I wish more companies would make this style of game with at least half the quality of Obsidian. I would have a lot of stuff to play than.
  16. Well I hope they get some good ideas out of these play sessions with PoE and implement them in SCL
  17. Amen brother. Although the warm cloak of familiarity (D&D) makes me very excited. I don't even understand the terminology in PoE. For example, this is an excerpt from the strategy guide on a dagger: What the hell does that Accuracy even mean? Plus 5 out of what, 100? Do those two stack for a total of +13 Accuracy? What would this be analogous to in D&D terms? Wheres my pants? You can find description of Accuracy under your character portrait in Inventory and Character tab. The plus to accuracy means, that this weapon adds all bonuses listed in the weapon description to the Base Accuracy, which is determined by Level, Class, Perception and Talents. The higher the accuracy, the easier you are able to hit stuff. In DnD terms the analogy would be Attack Bonus.
  18. Neverwinter Online was also blessed by WotC, and it has absolutely nothing with D&D rules whatsoever!
  19. Well, it was hard to decide, but in the end I picked up Cipher, because I wanted to try play one of the Obsidians original classes. The next game for me will be wizard.
  20. Well actually I disliked to be forced to go with Imoen and ****loads of quests in Athkatla as well. That does not mean I disliked BG2 as a whole game. I enjoyed it as much as I am enjoying PoE now.
  21. On this one, you are actually wrong too. In lot of countries, especially in Europe, it is legal, to make single backup of the game you have purchased for personal use. Because the disc are often made into coasters by intrusive DRM, you can without fear download backup for you. DRM circumvention is not illegal in EU, unlike in USA. And Whatever EULA might say, boxed games are still handled in EU like physical goods. That means EULA is invalid, if you are unable to read it through precisely before you open the packaged goods. Digital goods are not covered by that, because when you sign into Direct Download service, the EULA is accessible to you before the purchase. Unfortunately I do not know nothing about legality of back up of DRMed digital goods in EU, because I do not have any experience with it. I shop only DRM free digital goods, so I never looked into that matter.
  22. Yeah, the non-standard fantasy races are particularly hard to find. When I tried searching for Godlike, they were either too human or too alien. I didn't bother with Orlan because I knew I would just get a bunch of furry pics. Well, if you are photoshop savvy, the easiest way to get a custom Orlan picture would be to edit some Goblin pictures to make them little bit more hairy
  23. LoL when I have put Orlan Character Portraits into Google Image Search, this is what I got among the first few results Not sure, if that would fit your roleplay style though
