Well France owned it for very very long time. They got it in one war maybe 100 years ago. Until now :-D It was in middle of my territory and I did not liked it, so in last Blitzkrieg I finally got it from them as a part of a peace resolution. :-D

Not that I agree with him, I never played the game, but Jim paid for his copy Just saying, don't search any drama or flamebait here

A bit late, but this video from one Cynical Brit talks at length about the very disconnect between user attitudes and some reviewer attitudes toward Mad Max that Mamo (I hope it's alright I shorten your username to that... would you prefer MamWar? MWar?) asked about, and even talks about the very reviews linked here. Mamo/Mamoo is fine

After long break, I have played another two sessions in Pathfinder Society, with my friends over roll20 I have played this time a Nagaji Warpriest, I am level one, and we almost had TPK in the middle of module, because our Monk is to much trigger-happy

GOG: Two 2.01 patches? Which to use?
Mamoulian War replied to zeech's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Well, After reading some people have trouble with manually updating the game, I have done some experiments. It looks, that the correct gog manual installation is running first the PoE 2.01 patch, and the running Winter March 2.01 patch. After this procedure, the game after launch correctly shows the version of the game as 2.01.0721 PX1 If you are using GOG galaxy as well, turn off autoupdate for PoE, despite being at correct version, Galaxy still wants to redownload whole 6GB of patches again!!! I hope this helps... -
And this is why I love Japan! :-P http://www.siliconera.com/2015/09/04/omega-labyrinth-will-have-you-go-panty-collecting-in-dungeons-to-power-up/ You power up your characters by collecting panties in dungeons :-P

Well, it's done when it's done. I bet, that I want to play it as much as you, but storming their forums will not make the game release sooner I rather wait one more year for bug free release, than to play bug infested rushed game, which would deeply harm my enjoyment of the final product. As I know Obs for a long time, it will be neither of the two cases But I hope they will lean more toward the bug free one

Update 2.01 is Now Live
Mamoulian War replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Hello BAdler. I have installed PoE 2.0 and White March Part 1 from GoG. I just noticed that there are two updates available: One is PoE 2.01 and second one is WM 2.01. GoG Galaxy started to download 6GB patch automatically, but both of these patches when downloaded manualy are just 244MB in total. I have decided to do manual update, because my download speed is terrible. Do you know the answer, if I should apply both patches (with vanilla PoE first) or just the White March one? No words on GOG forums yet. Thank you. -
Btw. Physical copy of PC MGS contains on the disk only Steam installer. So you might think about cancelling your preorder. You will have to download it anyway. http://www.vg247.com/2015/08/31/metal-gear-solid-5-the-phantom-pain-pc-disc-only-contains-steam-installer/

Well, it is very special kind of game :-P. It is Japan comedy with lot of pantyshots, but I actually enjoyed the gameplay. There are only 3 games in main series though, and all of them have Vita remakes. Maybe that makes people think that they are soamming the releases on a daily basis. Other games are just spinoffs, because people love the characters a lot. There is no other game, where you play "flat and really dumb" main character So if you have problem with Japan being Japan, you will for sure hate the game. First was fun, but it has strange gameplay mechanics. Second completely overhauled the combat system, and the third expanded on it. If you would like to try, either go for Hymerdymension mk2 first or just buy the trilogy compilation on one disc. Either way, it is not game for everyone. Especially not for the the so called SJWs :-P Btw, the Vita remakes might be available on Steam as well. If you do not mind the service.

Not much gaming news, but related. If you care about it, MS have stealthily pushed "Win10-like" updates to Win 7 and 8, which might infringe on your privacy. http://arstechnica.co.uk/information-technology/2015/09/microsoft-accused-of-adding-spy-features-to-windows-7-8/

Well if it is fan service to the typical tea-bagging Halo players, I will gladly pass the game

I was finally able to rewrite the last two parts of my Europa Universalis playthrough. I have found out, that I completely forgot about one quick war, which happened before the last big one. All fixed now :D You can check it out with pictures on the link below https://sites.google.com/site/mamoulianfh/letsplay/europa-universalis-page4

The last FF game I liked was X, but IX was the last really good one. I loved IX a lot. I actually played it after X and X-2. When I played FFXII second time, to my surprise I somehow found it enjoyable as well. First playthrough was boring and I hated the gambit system. It looked like MMO to me. XIII was mediocre, but still I have kind of liked the game... There must be something wrong with me... XIII-2 was much better game, and I enjoyed it a lot. But Lightning Returns?... Even bigger disappointment for me than the Original Campaign of Neverwinter Nights... I wish I could forget about it Yes it makes sense, I feel the same, and from what I heard, lot of Final Fantasy fans as well...

We have state holiday here today, so I used the free time, to rewrite and add pictures to Parts 4, 5 and 6 of my EU sessions https://sites.google.com/site/mamoulianfh/letsplay/europa-universalis-page3 I have found today, that will latest drivers, my PC has became capable of using ShadowPlay to record or stream. I have also found out, that 5 minutes of High quality recording uses 1,9GB of HDD :-/ Has any of you tried out to work with it? I am thinking, if it is worth to use in some cases while playing for example Lords of Xulima or other older games.

Some more news revealed about FFXV on PAX. http://www.siliconera.com/2015/08/29/final-fantasy-xv-details-on-how-youll-get-to-cruise-on-the-regalia/ http://www.siliconera.com/2015/08/29/final-fantasy-xvs-leviathan-revealed-to-be-female-and-concept-art-details/ http://www.siliconera.com/2015/08/29/final-fantasy-xvs-release-date-will-be-announced-in-march-2016/ The game will be definitely released in 2016, but the more info they show, the more I am afraid it will be another boring singleplayer MMO walking simulator with sucky action combat like Lightning Returns:FFXIII Man it sold less copies then Bravely default on NDS for a reason FFS As I know myself, I am sucker into this franchise, so I will probably cave in and buy it despite all the warning signs... But at this point I am more anticipating the new Star Ocean 5 game from SE... IMO Namco Bandai already surpassed SE as a leading developer of true JRPGs with their Atelier and Tales of series, which makes me sad, but on the other hand, they gave me much more fun while playing their game in the last 5 years.
