  1. Look to be fair you can't judge these types of perceived strange or unreasonable decisions by countries like Malaysia ...I understand they seem strange but these are countries are ruled by religious doctrine and modern laws Its fine, we don't have to understand or agree with them but its there decision. As long as they don't export terrorism or have tens of thousands of immigrants wanting to get to Europe its not a big deal Just reminded myself that in Singapore you get caned for throwing chewing gum on the street. I was there, and loved that there was nowhere any garbage lying around. I seriously wish, that something like that, would be enforced in my country and in many EU countries, which I've visited as well...
  2. One of the video games news, which really deserves calling them epic :D http://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/11/13/pornhub-reports-a-10-traffic-drop-the-day-fallout-4-came-out/ HINT: It's about Fallout 4
  3. Oh yeah, let's turn the whole west into the incarnation of 1984. I think Jefferson would be proud now... Snowden is a traitor and betrayed his country.... and he did reveal how the NSA have the ability to monitor most social media so now maybe certain extremist groups may not use Facebook or Twitter as a way to communicate but I imagine this would have happened eventually so I don't think we can blame him for this ? In EU he is considered a hero who did risk everything so others can still enjoy one of the basic human rights, which is right to privacy.
  4. lol where you hear that? No one being executed in Malaysia, in fact one ex Muslim won the case in the court to become a Christian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lina_Joy Do not get into "political" debates with Gromnir. Sooner or later he will make you question either yours or his sanity ;-)

  6. Well because they are probably to busy to smuggle cocaine to your country. /sarcasm off Judging all people because of actions of the few is pretty much what makes people like al-Bagdadi happy about the "work" which they do...
  7. Well, despite that assertion being a bit comic, ISIS being contained and all (then again that's a decent weasel word). Not sure that ending torture really hurt the cause, not did limiting surveillance. Price of a free country is being open to this kind of attack and all. No, it's the price of stupidity. And Obola not only ended "torture" (which Bush already stopped for the most part, it was only used initially in a few cases), he stopped virtually all interrogation. On another subject, our borders are porous. If they weren't, deported criminals wouldn't be able to return 5,6,7 times. The reason we hadn't had a cross-border terrorist attack is the drug cartels won't allow it, they don't want the border to be closed. It's very amusing how some here try to deny that radical Islam is responsible for the attacks. No one is denying that radical moslems are responsible. People are just saying that not all of the moslems are radicals. I do not know if your media already mentioned it, but the attacks were executed in places, where many foreign nationalities live alongside French people without having any issues. I would say, this was one of the reasons behind the attack, hoping that the people living there start to hate each other...
  8. Who cares, there are money to be made on oil and guns. /sarcasm off
  9. Well, in United States you can not freely say Happy Christmas in the open, someone might sue you. It's Happy Holidays for everyone... Also my country has banned the use of foreign languages in some cases, which was thankfully removed... For example if you could talk Slovak and any other language, and ended up in hospital, you were not allowed to talk in that other language with the stuff even if the staff was talking that language. You had to talk Slovak, because hospitals are public places and you were allowed to engage the staff only in official language. Thankfully most of the people dumped on this law... Some countries have ridiculous laws, you can't do anything about that...
  10. Well, to bad no one ever made a list of persecution against Muslim minority... I bet some of the "free western countries" would be on that list on top ranks as well... My note was more alongside, that not every muslim is retarded **** running around with Kalashnikov and bomb belts as many of the "civilized westerners" love to point out. All countries have their own culture, and we have to accept it. How would you like, if someone would be so powerful, that he decided to bring their political view to your country and change your government with bombs?
  11. Well, do you know how many Syrian passports have been "liberated" Mafia, which organizes on Balkan the illegal movement of refugees? Getting your hands on Syrian Passport is in this day as easy as getting your hands on cookies...
  12. Well, looks like you never visited Indonesia, Malaysia or Maldives. Visiting these countries, would tell you much more about how Islam really is, compared to Fox News...
  13. Well, people are somehow forgetting, that one of the biggest terrorist actions in Europe in last decade was made by white straight male...
  14. https://www.gog.com/news/release_x_series Finally the X games released on GOG. With 75% discount!
  15. Yeah noticed that, thinking about finally getting Grimrock II or Dead State Remastered.
  16. Haha, Hyperdimension Neptunia arrived on GOG :-P
  17. Of course the people responsible should be able to get most of the bonuses, but this whole issue is ad I see it more of a problem of the people willing to slave off without trying to form unions, which could bring them much better bonuses and work conditions, than problem of ridiculous VA demands. All people which are included in the development should get much bigger cuts from publishers, if the product is successful. It works in almost all other fields of business, I do not see a reason, why it should not work in gaming as well.
  18. I got my first hit of gaming with JRPGs on the Sega Saturn in the mid 90s, and it amazes me how little that particular sub-genre changed in twenty years. It used to feel so cool and original, but now not so much. Compared to most WRPGs nowadays, the Japanese at least try to bring something new into gameplay for each new game. The story is mostly the same old cliche for each series, but at least they do not try to emulate each other and every developer holds to their own formula. In the west all AAA are now trying to be the next "Skyrim"...
  19. Well, I have already 2 PS4 games at home, but still no console :-P I still have such a big backlog on PC and PS3, that I'll probably wait for the slim version before shelling out ducats :-P
  20. Which is the second one?
  21. Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky Second Chapter released on GOG for the few jRPG fans here. The first chapter is on 50% sale now. http://www.gog.com/news/release_legend_of_heroes_trails_in_the_sky_second_chapter
  22. You have something against Transylvania expansion of CK2?
  23. More real DnD goodness on GOG: Ravenlofts, Dark Suns and Krynns in digital premiere up for grabs!!! http://www.gog.com/news/release_dungeons_dragons_ravenloft_dark_sun_krynn_series
  24. I don't understand what you are really arguing here? I mean yeah there are other companies that depend on a publisher, but nowadays they are usually owned by said publisher and even if they weren't it would still mean they are in trouble if they don't have the next project lined up before their current one finishes. Obsidian was in dire straights (almost bankrupt) before PoE got KSed. With PoE they were able to forestall that. Now if they don't have the cash to fund the next PoE installment they are in deep **** again, until they KS again (and then it depends if people will even fund). If they have enough cash to fund PoE2 they can try to KS another game and secure their foreseeable future. Pretty easy to see the difference there. I guess the better thing to argue would be what you consider a successful business model. You are forgetting, that Obsidz have signed deal with Paizo, so I would not see KS for PoE as being in deep **** for them. Myself, I would rather see PoE2 on kickstarter, than being publisher / self-funded.
  25. No. To be more verbose, if you pay full price for a game, which is advertising microtransactions, you are showing the publisher positive acceptance of the trend, and make them more likely to put that crap into all of their releases. If you like the game, just wait for dropped price, you will still play it, but show to the publisher with your wallet, that you do not agree with this plague of the industry. Maybe now it does not affect the gameplay (which is bull**** imo), but it will soon enough affect everyones enjoyment unless they pay loads of money into it...
