  1. Well, I have already 2 PS4 games at home, but still no console :-P I still have such a big backlog on PC and PS3, that I'll probably wait for the slim version before shelling out ducats :-P
  2. Which is the second one?
  3. Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky Second Chapter released on GOG for the few jRPG fans here. The first chapter is on 50% sale now. http://www.gog.com/news/release_legend_of_heroes_trails_in_the_sky_second_chapter
  4. You have something against Transylvania expansion of CK2?
  5. More real DnD goodness on GOG: Ravenlofts, Dark Suns and Krynns in digital premiere up for grabs!!! http://www.gog.com/news/release_dungeons_dragons_ravenloft_dark_sun_krynn_series
  6. I don't understand what you are really arguing here? I mean yeah there are other companies that depend on a publisher, but nowadays they are usually owned by said publisher and even if they weren't it would still mean they are in trouble if they don't have the next project lined up before their current one finishes. Obsidian was in dire straights (almost bankrupt) before PoE got KSed. With PoE they were able to forestall that. Now if they don't have the cash to fund the next PoE installment they are in deep **** again, until they KS again (and then it depends if people will even fund). If they have enough cash to fund PoE2 they can try to KS another game and secure their foreseeable future. Pretty easy to see the difference there. I guess the better thing to argue would be what you consider a successful business model. You are forgetting, that Obsidz have signed deal with Paizo, so I would not see KS for PoE as being in deep **** for them. Myself, I would rather see PoE2 on kickstarter, than being publisher / self-funded.
  7. No. To be more verbose, if you pay full price for a game, which is advertising microtransactions, you are showing the publisher positive acceptance of the trend, and make them more likely to put that crap into all of their releases. If you like the game, just wait for dropped price, you will still play it, but show to the publisher with your wallet, that you do not agree with this plague of the industry. Maybe now it does not affect the gameplay (which is bull**** imo), but it will soon enough affect everyones enjoyment unless they pay loads of money into it...
  8. I had exactly the same feelings, when I started Dark Souls for the first time
  9. I started yesterday to play Tales of Graces f on my PS3 on moderate difficulty. Launched New Game Plus and decided to try to get some more Trophies. It seems to me the game is little bit easier than I remember :-P
  10. Glad to hear it. To have enough time for a proper release is one of the most rare things man can have in this field. I can't wait for the final release and I hope so much for a non Steam-only PC release. Hope I will see it one day :-P
  11. I would bet that the marketing of this game is fully under the power of Paizo.
  12. When you are offline, you can't buy their "insurance" subscription :-P
  13. Or stop buying games from publishers which are pulling this stunts. It's actually easier, the older you get. I am buying nowadays only indie and japanese games, and I still have such a big backlog, that I don't need to think about Wallet Raider or similar games :-P
  14. Thank you for your answer, Now it makes all sense. I have found few hours ago an article, which says, that you can "Unlock" Catalunya, when you own some/all of the provinces with Catalan culture as France for example, and let them revolt. And that you never get the country, when you own the provinces as Aragon or later Spain. In that case, the chance for spawning Catalan or Aragon rebels should be 50/50 %. cheers.
  15. As I know some you are loving EU games, I would like to ask you for an advice. It's just my crazy curiosity, becasue I can't find any mentions about it anywhere. Is there any chance how to play a game as a country, which does not have a core province in a game during the whole period of Grand Campaign? As an example is Catalunya, which should be formable, but I have not found a way how to form it without existing core provinces. I have found some mentions about National Rebels but how could I help them to rise in Aragon or Castille? Thanks!
  16. Have I seen 2016 in the end of the trailer???? *drools*
  17. Hooray, I have today finished my first Paradox Game. Austria has become the new ruler of the world It was real fun, almost for the whole 68 hours, which I have spent playing it! I found few glitches and issues especially with AI through the game, but they were so minor, that they did not hinder my enjoyment of the game in the slightest. More about the finish of my game is available here: https://sites.google.com/site/mamoulianfh/letsplay/europa-universalis-page7 Now, I will have to take some break from strategy games, and probably finish Van Helsing or start some of my JRPGs, which I still haven't started on my PS3. We'll see.
  18. Europa Universalis III Complete and additional DLC Collection now on GOG!!! Well, that means, I am now 8.98 EUR lighter
  19. FIRST!!! Yesterday, I was finally able to continue with my Europa Universalis walkthrough. I have planned to have just a very short session, maybe hour or two, but the AI, choose differently, and I have ended with 8 hours session because I had to fight in 4 different wars in little bit more than 15 years of in-game time O.o You can find more about it in 11th part of my "Let's play EU" here: https://sites.google.com/site/mamoulianfh/letsplay/europa-universalis-page6 Thank you for reading
  20. Gaming OCD almost ruined AssCreed: Black Flag for me. I thoroughly liked that game for about 40 hours, but my desire to collect every one of the useless knickknacks combined with Ubisoft's raging boner for making players climb towers got me heavily burnt out on the game. I wound up taking a 2-3 week break then powered through the final part. Well, I am also positive on gaming OCD... That's why I still play the DAMNED!!! Star Ocean 4. It's soon freaking 5 years when I started to play the game, and I still feel deep burn in my soul, that it is not finished until I get the damn Platinum Trophy... Thankfully the hardest and the most time consuming part is already behind me, but the Chaos Difficulty, which still awaits me, is pretty hard as well :-/
  21. Just now, I have gained the hardest (or more like the most time consuming) trophy in a game. After attending 3000th battle with Faize, I have finally gained the Ultimate Battler trophy in Star Ocean The Last Hope International. I had to acquire 900 battle throphies. It took me pretty long time! At the moment 725 hours played and I am at 91% of all throphies. Now I will need to do one more playthrough of the hardest difficulty to finally get the Platinum Trophy.
  22. Yes it was!
  23. I had to take a break from my EU1 Austria campaign because of busy work schedule. Right after I get back into normal, I have decided to buy Van Helsing I and II on GOG and been playing little bit of that once in a while. I started to play with Thaumaturge and right on the Hardest difficulty. It can be insane sometimes, but so far after more than 30 hours of playing, I have died around 30-35 times only. I am enjoying it much more than Torchlight which was for me pretty boring ( I have also dusted off my PS3 and started to attend Gran Turismo 6 online championships again. I am enjoying it a lot. Mostly the GT300 Championship and DTM Championship, because at these two, I don't suck as much as in GT500, and getting good points every race. In GT500 I am so bad, that I managed to get my first point in 13th race of the Championships, and it looks like it will stay that way a little bit longer, because next track is Brands Hatch and I am sooooo bad at this track... And today I have finished the 899th out of 900 Battle Trophies in Star Ocean 4 :-D To kill 55 Grigori with Faize. I managed to kill 4 of them in the main game, so I have to kill 51 in Post game. The only way how to respawn them, was to kill the second hardest boss in the fame over and over. Had to kill him 15 times :-/ It took me maybe 20-25 hours, but now only last few hundred battles to get the last 3000 battles trophy and then I will be just one playthrough away from Platinum Trophy... But before that playthrough I will have to finish the Austria Campaign and finish my Let's Play of EU so I can start playing EU2 and finish Lords of Xulima and Xenonauts as well :-D
  24. I was in a social guild which was raiding once in a while, the LFG and LFR tools destroyed the social aspect of the whole game for most of the people playing. Tanks got their groups after this feature in 15 seconds, healers in 2 minutes, DPS in 20-30 minutes... In the end everyone quit the game because it brought up drama, that tanks are always locked out of heroics and raids :-/
