Continuing in Europa Universalis 3 France playthrough. Man, yesterday was the day, when **** hit the fan and spread over all your room an face. First my 18 years old heir, decided to forcibly claim the throne. I had to execute him, because of his ****ty stats, compared with current ruler, but I found out, he was the only heir to the country. That says a lot, why he was so spoiled Then instead of new heir being born, I found one in the forest, and decided to raise him as my own. That mean +2 to rebellions in all of my provinces. Well no worries, I am at stability 3, what could happen As soon as I said that to myself, I got Comet sighted! Random Event - stability +2, few months later I got few more Random events, where the most positive effect to my realm was the hit to stability. OK. I have ended with -2 and telling myself, what worse could happen. Didn't take to long to find that out My king has died, and the heir was at the age of 3. And because, he was found in the woods, the legitimacy of the Regent Council was at 20, I got automatically hit with another -1 to stability and that took me automatically over the infamy limit, which promptly made popup about 20 event Rebellion hightening events in various provinces. And because I have spent my last diplomat, right before my king died, I was unable to make new Royal Marriages, so my legitimacy was dropping because of my infamy, with crazy speed. And that in the end made spawn like 50 rebel troops over the next 5 years all over my country, which I had to fight against, most of them incited by espionage. AAAAAARRRRRGGHHH! The RNG god really hates me!!! I am just happy, that when I was for short time with infamy at 25 out of 24, that the only country, which declared war on me, was Mali... I have gone for white peace right away, because all of my troops, were dying last few years while trying to suppress the rebels... The only positive thing which happened to me yesterday, that right before my last King Awesome (with 7/9/8 stats) died, I have inherited the throne of Bohemia, the country of the former, because their ruler died as well, but without an heir. At the start of the game I have decided to join HRE as well, just to know what that game mechanics is about, and now, I have in between the electorate 3 vassals and 1 country in personal union. The only thing which hinder me to become the HRE Emperor, is my infamy... But slowly working on getting it down, veeeeery slowly, because I had 4 Unlawful territories, which I got through Diplomatic Annexations :D We'll see how it goes.

Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 are best Naughty Dog's games, without question :-P And are amongs the best games ever as well!!!

As someone, who's last 4xgame was MoO2, I can highly recommend you to play any PDox games. They are crazy fun, especialy, when you master the steep learning curve. I am far far far away, from mastering it, but I really love their games. Well with the exception of Victoria 1, which looks to steep for me to learn atm :-P But started to play EU3 game yesterday, just for fun, no LP this time. I have picked France, and it is so far harder than EU1 and EU2. You have no chance to find some "special" rules/events/stuff without going from time to time onto Pdox wikis.

Killed today for the first time Aeronite in Lightning Returns:FFXIII, for a gold trophy. Well this game is not that bad, but it missed so much potential. As I said before, the stupid MMOesque fetch quest can destroy any game. And they are definitely destroying this on. If this is what SE thinks about "Open World Fun" and put something like that into FFXV, I will be sad panda ( Although FFXV is pretty low on my anticipation meter, due to it being hack&slash with RPG elements and not, what I expect from jRPGs...

Well besides browsing for awesome updates to the top candidate for GotY, I am playing Pathfinder Adventures on my iPad. The game is so crazy addictive, to bad it has still a lot of bugs but well, I haven't played better iOS/Android Free-to-Play game ever. Obsidian did a great job in transferring the game from Tabletop to Mobile platforms. Thumbs up!

Hello, similar bug was reported also in this thread http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86665-merisiel-vs-giant-gecko/ To me this bug happened twice, both time when using weapon + sneak attack + blessing from Kyra. When I have cancelled Kyra's blessing, everything described in the quote above happened, but I have also lost weapon, in second bug, I have lost two weapons. Both of them stayed on the "table" but I was unable to put the weapons back to my hand. When I have ended turn, I have drawn from my deck cards up to my maximum hand number. The weapons were not in discard pile either iOS 9.3.1 iPad Air 4 Patch 1.0.2

Unfortunatelly for some people, the fun is unimportant part of the game/book/movie. If it does not cater 100% to their own personal preference, they will try to spoil it for all other who might enjoy it. And this goes for both sides of the argument. Black and white vision is the stupidest human trait ever...

If the writing will be on par on what I expect for my money, I will have absolutely no objections. If the writers will fail as much as miss Scott, I will be voicing my opinion very loud, because I have invested over 200 USD in the development of this game. I do nit give a ****, what "issues" they are trying to reference, as much as they will offer the quality of the writing on par of Planescape:Torment.

Sounds fitting. Let's reduce Beamdog's *exciting* non-cis experiment to exactly that. It's a rejection of said writer's rubbish, not of gays or transgender people. Right. And although rejecting "said writer's rubbish" just so happens to take the form of actively removing gay or transgender characters from the game, that's just a coincidence - it's not about rejection of gay or transgender people, right?Yes. A coincidence, nothing more, nothing less. You are raging about nothing as much as are all the 1/10 reviewers raging about nothing. Just on the opposite side. World is not black and white, and if you are not able to see that some people can have valid issues with writing, despite not crusading against gays/transgenders, then I am trully sorry for you. Started to play Lightning Returns NG+ on normal difficulty. I still don't like it ( But well it's not that bad, if it would be standalone game, but it does not deserve Final Fantasy name :-/ At least all the items are carried over, so you do not have to repeat all that fetch quests. The game compared to Crisis Core, which had similar gameplay, really suffers from all the stupid MMO-type quests. At some point it just stops to be fun, if you have to kill 40 monsters which spawn one by one in Luxerion :-/

We'll see about it, I am trying to avoid any spoilers (so far successfully) until I get my hands on it (unfortunattely, I'll be unable to play it before october, because I am waiting for the new PS4K model). I have Star Ocean 1 and 2 on PSP, and enjoyed them as well. TBH, I am now disappointed, that there are no more Battle Trophies in the game It was nice fun to go for them ( well except Arumat's/Edge 30000 kills and -logy drops, these sucked ass ), it really made this game longlasting experience )

To tell a little bit more about it, I played the game with "self-made story mode", where I was going only for boss battles and mandatory trash battles. Besides boss battles, I have picked up just chests and mining/harvesting nodes for Experience. I have finished the game after 40 battle. Few of them took more than 20 minutes. I think, the game can be completed with 37 battles, maybe 36, but I needed at second boss more experience, to make it little bit easier The hardest battle was battle against Kokabiel, because I have forgotten to give to my characters two crafted accessories and teaching them HP Bonus skills. After I noticed that, I have killed him on my first attempt I can't wait to put my hands on the Star Ocean 5, which will be released in few months, and I hope it will be at least half as much fun as Star Ocean 4. But also hope, that the story will be better

Today is the day, when I have arrived at the end of a long road. I have today achieved Platinum Trophy for Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope International. The first time, I have started the game, was more than 5 years ago, in January 2011. To get all the trophies, I had to finish it on 4 different difficulties, and do 900 different battle tasks for all 9 characters, all in all it took me more than 750 hours of net gaming time. O.o I enjoyed it most of the time, but unfortunately, the last playthrough on Chaos, when I was doing just the story mode, without doing any sidequests, showed me again the biggest flaw of the game. The main character ... Edge Maverick is holier than the Pope, and sometimes highly annoying because of that :-/ But thankfully the game as a whole, is satisfactory and challenging, especially, when you go for the Battle Trophies and Optional Bosses. And that was the main reason, why I have decided in 2011, after finishing the game for the first time, that I have to get the Platinum on this one

Guys I'm thinking of starting on DS1 ? But I'm not sure I have patience to keep going back every time I die?Is it worth....you guys all seem to like it? Well, you will die a lot in the game. But there are severel bonfires in each area, which are checkpoints. So once you know the path to the boss, you can ignore most enemies and run to the boss area. I really think it's worth to stick to the game and not give up. It has unique storytelling and multiplayer, great bossfights and fantastic exploration. The level and world design in DS1 is simply brilliant. I have DS1 &2 on Steam .....okay so your view is just learn the game play What class would you recommend for a novice? That really depends on you what is easier. For me it was very hard to play melee builds, because my r3flexes at my current age are not what they used to be decade ago, so I have gone for stealth with magic approach, and it worked for me pretty ok. Have not finished DS1 yet, becaues time, but I have finnished Demon's Souls 4 times that way and I am having Platinum Trophy for that game on PS3. Took me almost 800 deaths to achieve that and over hundred hours :-D
